Y/n's POV

I finished editing the pictures rather quickly and was able to get to bed before 2am. I climbed into bed and Apollo curled up next to me, snuggling close to me in order to find more warmth. I drifted off to sleep and I couldn't remember any of my dreams. The only thing that told me I was asleep was my 8:30am alarm blaring in my ear. I jolted awake and fumbled around my covers to try and find my phone to turn off that damn alarm. I felt it and smiled as I quickly turned it off, flopping back down onto the bed. I sighed and heard Apollo meow obnoxiously from the doorway. I rolled my eyes,

"Do you really need your breakfast now?"

"Meow."

"Damn cat," I muttered as I got out of my warm bed and put some slippers on. Apollo happily went to the kitchen and hopped up on the countertop, waiting for me to get his food from the cabinet. I pet him as I put his bowl on the counter. He was very talkative this morning, meowing quite often. He perked up when he saw the familiar food bag. I laughed as he hopped back down onto the floor and ran over to where his food bowl goes. I dumped a cup of food for him and walked over to where he was waiting.

"Here ya go, you little demon. Love ya." I said with a smile as I put his bowl down. He went straight to eating it and I also filled up his water bowl in the kitchen sink.

I stretched a little and did my morning routine in the bathroom. Once I got out, I walked over and stupidly opened the blinds widely.

"Jesus christ!" I yelled as the reflection of the white snow was absolutely blinding. I quickly shut them and cursed at the sky for not having any clouds in sight to dampen the sunlight a little. I rubbed my eyes and got annoyed as that was not the morning call I really wanted.

I decided to go out this morning and get a cup of hot chocolate down at the local café since I need to edit my other pictures. I got ready and wore jeans and a thick hoodie, along with my coat. I pulled my blue beanie over my head and looked in the mirror quickly, nodding my head in satisfaction. I snatched my laptop from the coffee table and put it in my bag, I then grabbed my keys of the hook they were hanging on, shouting a goodbye to Apollo on the way out. I locked my door and groaned, banging my head on my door as I heard my name get called out,

"Hey y/n! How are you?" My dumbass neighbor Nathan said with a stupid smile. I rolled my eyes at him,

"Dude, how many times do I have to tell you I like women, not men?" I said right away. His smile faltered a little, telling me I hurt his little feelings.

"Well you can still like me." He said, taking a step towards me.

"If you come closer to me, I'm screaming fire and punching you." I told him seriously. He gave up,

"Fine! But one day you are going to realize the best thing that'll happen to you is living next door!"

"If you're the best thing that's supposed to happen to me, I'll just kill myself!" I shouted to him, watching him flip me off as he stormed away. I flipped him off too even though he couldn't see me and made my way to the stairs. As soon as I opened the door from the lobby that leads outside, a huge gut of freezing air hit me. I mentally told mother nature to fuck off and made my walk down the few blocks it takes to get to them café.

I was listening to my music softly as I went, wanting to tune the world. Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' had just ended and it went straight into Red Velvet's 'Power Up'. I bopped my head along to the upbeat song and it made the time pass by quickly as I was walking up to the door of the café.

The small chimes rang and my favorite barista and best friend Somi was working the main register today. She looked back from the machine she was using and sent me a wide smile,
