Chapter Twenty-Seven

Y/n's POV

"Boarding for flight 231, JFK airport to ICN in South Korea." The overhead announcement said as I grabbed my backpack and Somi grabbed hers as we got our boarding passes out for the flight attendant at the front. We handed them to her and she quickly looked over them,

"Have a great flight you two." I smiled at her and thanked her, catching up to Somi who just walked away without saying anything. I was now next to her and our eyes scanned the numbers and letters above the seats, trying to find ours. I found our seats and I had the window seat. I quickly sat down and Somi groaned,

"Really? You get the window seat?"

"Yes because I've never been to South Korea, now shut up and stop whining. You can have the window seat on the way back." I reasoned with her as she plopped down next to me. This plane only had 2 seats per row since it was a smaller plane. It's nice because we don't have some rando sitting with us, trying to talk about how capitalism is destroying the world. Like I really don't want to hear someone rant about that as I got a like 14 hour flight.

We sat patiently in our seats, goofing around as we waited for all the passengers to board. I shot Alexa a quick text thanking her again for taking care of Apollo. It took about another half hour and soon the pilot was heard through the speakers. He said his usual rant about how he's been flying for 18+ years, blah blah blah. Then the flight attendants came out for the safety stuff which I barely paid attention to. If the plane is gonna crash, I'll just accept my fate.

Everyone buckled up and take-off was a go. The plane sped down the runaway and soon we were in the air. Since it was like 4am, it was still pitch black outside, so there was no scenery whatsoever. But then again it's just New York, so I've seen it before. I turned to face Somi,

"What time will it be there when we land?"

"Shit, umm, I think around 6am? Don't quote me on that though." I nodded my head because I think that sounds about right.

"Okay, well I'm going to sleep." I said as I closed the blind on the window and pulled a sleeping mask over my eyes.

"I was just thinking the same thing. Sweet dreams; dream about Rosie." I smacked her shoulder after she said that, but I did indeed dream about Rosie.

I was rudely shaken awake by Somi. I pulled my sleep mask down and shot her a death glare,

"What the fuck do you want?" I asked her as she just rolled her eyes at me.

"Food is coming around and I know you're hungry because your damn stomach wouldn't shut up when you were asleep." I sighed and decided not to be a bitch to her anymore because I was indeed hungry. I stretched my arms out as best I could,

"How long was I asleep for?"

"Like 5 hours I think." I hummed and checked the tiny TV in front of me to check where we are. We are currently chilling over the Pacific Ocean, keeping a steady path to Seoul. I changed to the movie menu and scrolled through the options we got to choose from. I was surprised to see they somehow got some Marvel movies on here. I clicked 'Age of Ultron' and happily connected my headphones to the small screen. I also opened up the blinds for the window so we got some light shining on us.

After about 10 minutes into the movie, a flight attendant with a cart of goodies came to us. The woman looked around our age and she had this really neat jet black hair. She had a bright smile on her face,

"Can I get you two anything?"

"Yes, I'll have an apple juice and a breakfast sandwich." Somi said as the lady nodded, reaching into a small box for the sandwich. She then got a small bottle of apple juice for Somi as well. Her eyes moved over to me,
