ding! My phone beeps on the bedside table next to my bed. Stretching my arms, I sit up to pause the Stranger Things episode I used to drown out my boredom and hear my bones crack.
"Oh that felt good," I mutter out, twisting my torso and hearing my back cracking as well.
Feeling through the table in the dark room, I smile to myself as I finally find my phone and grab it, squinting slightly as my eyes adjust to its full brightness.
