Muffled by the sound of festivities and the crowds, a woman's retching is barely heard.

"Meiko! Naoto, quick get some water for her!"

"Right."

She can't help but cover her nose and mouth in nausea, the smell of festival food upsetting her stomach with ease as she tried to hide between stalls of foods and games. Her already pale complexion taking on a more sickly shade, as her dark locks fall over to obscure her face. Struggling to not sway from the onset of nausea, as she tried to breathe through her mouth.

"Mei-nee!" A woman of light brown hair, can not help but come right to her side. Hands firmly, yet gently doing their best to steady the slightly drained ebony-haired woman. "Are you feeling sick still? Maybe it be best if we--"

"No!" The slightly older woman gagged, as she continued to cover her mouth and nose with her handkerchief. "I'm fine. Really." Taking a few more deep breaths she finally smiled up at her concerned friend. "I just got a little queasy is all, I'm fine now Hinata."

Frowning the woman, Hinata, could not help but shake her head. "You're not fine, hasn't this been happening a lot lately? Even now before we came here you.... Maybe we should go to the hospital, have you even gone to see a doctor."

Grinning at the other woman, Meiko chuckled softly, "You know I have, Hina. I wouldn't want to risk your wrath, you know." She joked before smiling softly as she looked down, "At most I'm just a bit dehydrated from throwing up, but that should be fixed soon enough."

"Mei-nee..." Hinata stares concernedly, "What... What did the doctors say to you?"

Smiling back up at the slightly younger woman, Meiko could not help but teasingly hold a finger up to her lips. "Secret~"

"Meiko!" Hinata almost seemed to huff, as she glared at the slightly older woman.

"It's okay really." Meiko repeated, smiling, "It's just... Some news I'm waiting to share with everyone." She explained, "At least... Not until... I at least try to share it with 'him'."

Eyes widening, Hinata's breath hitched in anticipation. "You... you don't mean--"

"Hina, Meiko!" A dark-haired man slightly much younger than the two women comes running up to their side, "Here, I got you water from a vending machine."

"Were none of the stalls selling any?" Hinata frowned as the young man shook his head.

"Unfortunately not, I'm sorry it took so long."

Smiling up at the younger man, Meiko could only shake her head as she took the drink from his hands. "It's okay Naoto. Thanks again for--"

An ear-splitting scream broke the festival noise, the sound of a truck engine. Meiko's blue eyes widen, Hinata screams in shock, Naoto tries to pull the two women and himself to safety.

"Now that July has started, the weather in China has been hot, and distribution of air pressure has been bringing in warmth, making the overall temperature higher than last year all across Japan."

Within the unkept and littered apartment of a young man, a tv reported on the day's weather.

"The Kantou Koushin'estu area, as well as the Tokai region, will have clear, sunny, summerie skies ahead. The temperatures will be hotter inland, so please beware of unexpected rainstorms in areas near the mountains."

The owner of said apartment laid lazily before the television screen, munching away on a snack of chips while atop his futon.

"And now for our next story. The dispute between the Tokyo Majin Gang has been intensifying in the city. Recently, uninvolved civilians fell victim to the dispute. Six were injured in this incident. One was sent to the hospital,"

"Wait, seriously? Scary..."

"But is in cardiopulmonary arrest. There were three fatalities. The ones who died at the scene have been identified as Tachibana Naoto-san, 25, from Shibuya, Tokyo..."

The young man paused in his eating as he repeated the name, "Tachibana Naoto...?" Scratching his butt the young man raised up the volume of his television as he became more incrossed with the news.

"Also from Shibuya, Tachibana-san's older sister, Tachibana Hinata-san, 26."

The young man's stomach dropped as he heard that name, "Tachibana Hi... Hinata--"

"And finally, from Shibuya as well. Hanagaki Meiko-san, 27. The MPD is on high alert."

The man's blood ran cold as he sat up from his place staring at the news report, his bottom lip trembled as he stared at the news. "Onee...-chan."
