17: I am here!

Bondita came downstairs taking a bath to do aarti. Trilochan and Som were already present there. She didn't wish a proper good morning to them. She just smiled at them and went to do the aarti.

"Som! Ye Bahu ko kya hua?", asked Trilochan only audible to Som.

"Woh Kaka, kal raat ko Dada waapas nahi laute the. Aur uparse Boudi ne kuch khaya bhi nahi tha kal. Poora din bhookhi rahi woh. Toh shayad isliye thodi kamzor pad gayi hain", replied Som with concern.

"Nalayak kahinka! Waapas aaya ki nahi woh?", asked a frustrated Trilochan.

"Pata nahi Kaka", replied Som. Binoy and Batuk too joined them to listened their latest gossip.

"Kya Kaka aap bhi! Unhe toh sabse zyada uss popat ki fikr rehti hai aaj kal", said Batuk rolling his eyes, only to earn a smack on his head by Binoy.

"Chup raho tum! Kuch bhi bole jaa rahe ho", scolded Binoy.

"Wahi toh! Kuch bhi matt bolo! Dada wahan isliye hain kyunki Swapan Uncle aisa chahte hain", said Som. Trilochan nodded in agreement.

"Arre hume toh pehle din se hi uss Bhaumik Poribaar par shak tha. Pata nahi kya vyapaar sambandh rakhna chahte thhe tum usse Binoy", frowned Trilochan.

"Aarti lijiye Kaka Sasurji", said Bondita while approaching them. All stood straight on seeing her.

"Bahu, woh Anirudh aaya nahi shayad abhi tak", said Trilochan after taking the aarti.

"Nahi Kaka Sasurji. Pati Babu aa chuke hain. Woh der se aaye the na toh so rahe hain apne study mein. Mein jaake dekhti hoon", saying this she went towards the Study.

Trilochan looked at her retreating figure with his glossy eyes. Binoy kept his hand on his shoulders muttering,"Da."

"Binoy! Bilkul Sumati Boudi jaisi hai Bondita", said Trilochan.

Som looked at him in shock on listening 'Sumati Boudi' from his mouth.

"Kaka! Aap Sumati Kaki ko kaise jaante ho?", asked Som.

Trilochan came out of his trance on listening him. Gulping in nervousness, he said,"Arre! Jante hain hum! Tumhe jaanne ki kya zarooat hai! Jaao tum dono apna kaam karo!" Saying this, he went away.

"Yeh Kaka ko kya hua?", asked Batuk to Som.

"Pata nahi", muttered Som looking suspiciously at Trilochan's retreating figure.

Bondita opened the door of the Study. As she entered, she noticed Anirudh sleeping on the couch. He did not change and slept like that. Bondita sighed in disbelief looking at him.

"Bina badle hi so gaye", she said under her breath and went near him to wake him up.

"Pati Bab-", she stopped as her eyes fell on his face. His hair was dishevelled. His pouted lips made him look more cute in sleep. Bondita just stared him as he stirred like a child in sleep. She giggled seeing his antics in sleep.

"Waise toh koi kahega nahi ki Anirudh Roy Chaudhury itna pyaara kabhi ho sakta hai. Par unhe sote waqt dekhke koi ye bhi nahi kahega ki Anirudh Roy Chaudhury itna sakt bhi ho sakta hai", muttered Bondita with a smile.

"Kuch waqt aur sone deti hoon. Waise bhi bohot pyaare lag rahe hain. Aur thake huye bhi toh hain. Kuch waqt aur araam kar lenge toh thik lagega unhe", saying this, she left the room with a smile.

Anirudh was listening to everything she was saying. After she went out, he got up with a smile on his lips. A blush crept on his cheeks. She complimented him! Oh Dugga Maa! Was he dreaming!
