Chapter 5

For the next week Nash and I texted every night. Lillian started having to go to work early every morning because her work hours changed so I rode the bus every morning with Hayes. But Dakota was still harassing me and I didn't know how to get around it.

"So." Hayes said "Nash has seemed extra tired for the past week every morning. I think he's been staying up all night texting someone." He said making it obvious he knows that its me.
"Really who!?" I said playing along with his game.
"Okay Foreal." He said "what's up between you two?"
"We 're just friends." I said.
"Come on." Said Hayes "that's it."
"Hayes I know your trying to hook me up with Nash but we've only known each other for like a week."
"Your right." He said looking down at the ground.
"Yeah I kinda always am."
He laughed "your such a loser."
"Okay freshman." I said
"Oh that hurt." he said putting his hands over his chest. We both laughed until we got to the school.

Later during lunch I got a text from Nash.
Nash-Hey wanna come over to my house after school to study? I need help with math I can pick you up with Hayes.
Me-Sure you need someone smart to help you.(me)
Nash-Of course
Me-okay gtg see ya after school.
Nash-See ya.

After school I caught up with Hayes.
"Hey I'm comin over to study with Nash, so I'm riding with you." I said walking with him.
"Sweet." He said with a smile.

When Nash picked us up Five Seconds of Summer was on the radio.
"Nash turn it up!" I said. He turnt up the radio.
"I remember the day you told me you were leaving I remember the makeup running down your face"
I sang along with the song. Amnesia was one of my favorites.
"Who's this?" Nash asked.
"Five Seconds of Summer. Duh" said Hayes. "Um I mean...well I um..."
"Hayes are you a secret 5sauce fan?" I asked with excitment.
"Psshh no." He said trying to play it off. We all laughed.
