Chapter 9

It's been another 2 weeks Nash and I see each other everyday. We've gotten really close he's basically my bestfriend he's always there for me when I need him and I'm there when he needs me. Hayes says he knows we're both secretly in love with each other. But the truth is I'm not sure how I feel about Nash. Tonight he's coming over for dinner so he's going to meet Lillian and Harvey.

As I waited for the bus I heard footsteps behind me.
"Hey hey hey." It was Dakota. Gosh I'm so tired of him I wish he'd just leave me alone. He put his arms around me.
"Don't touch me." I said throwing his arms off me.
"I'll do what I want." He said putting his arms back around me. I slapped him hard on his arm it even hurt my hand.
"Ouch! You little-" He yelled he grabbed me by my hair and threw me on the grounded.
"Don't you ever hit me!" He said kicking me in the side. God it hurt so bad. He grabbed me by my hair and threw me face down on the ground again, I could feel the blood pouring down my nose.
"Dakota stop please!" I yelled. He slapped me across the face. It stung so bad.
"Rember this!" He yelled. "If you ever try to fight me again I'll beat the living daylight out of you!"
He ran off just in time for when the bus got here I wiped the blood of my nose with my hand but it just kept pouring out. I pulled my hoodie over my head enough to cover my face.
When I sat down beside Hayes he could tell something was wrong.
"Uh Mia you tired or something?" He asked. I didn't answer him I continued to look down at the ground.
"Mia?hello?" He pulled my hood off.
I tryed to pull it back on but it was too late he already saw the damage.
"Mia!?! What happened!?"
"Shhhhh" I said trying not to draw attention.
"Mia What hapened?" He whispered
"I feel on the concrete face first."
"Well that was some fall. Here." He took end of his hoodie and helped me wipe my nose off.
"Are you sure your okay" He asked
"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks Hayes your a really good friend."
He smiled "you are too."
