Chapter 83: Deciding the Fate of the Universe, Goku vs Frieza Part 2

Y/N POV

I landed on top of the mountain where Piccolo, Krillin and Gohan were also stood. My eyes flicked back and forth between Goku and Frieza. The level these two were at was unfathomable, how had Goku gotten THIS strong in such a short period of time?!

I was even tuning out the commentary of the others as my focus remained on the two combatants. I did however pick up Piccolo saying "The outcome of this fight will influence the future of the entire universe." Krillin added "And we're the only once who get to watch it." That made Piccolo reply "Hopefully, we'll get a chance to do more than that." I nodded slightly in agreement, I hated having to sit this one out.

My attention once again turned to the matter at hand, where Goku and Frieza just stared at one another intensely. They were silent at first however Goku broke said silence when he asked "What do you say we get down to it?" To this Frieza replied "You are a case aren't you? Killing you is going to be sheer delight."

They went back to silence again for a moment before Goku spoke up once again saying "Alright then, it's now or never." Frieza replied "Sure, what do you prefer? Ground or up in the air." Goku replied "Ground's good."

Frieza looked around and gestured to an island. Goku nodded and the pair headed towards the island. Upon landing, Goku tossed the tattered orange gi aside as Frieza declared that he would fight now without the use of his hands. He folded his arms and there was one final silence.

The fight FINALLY resumed as Goku sped forwards, he tried to punch however Frieza jumped, avoiding it. True to his word, he kept his arms folded and instead went in for a kick. Goku dodged and continued to do so as Frieza kept on kicking.

Goku tried punching though he missed, he tried following up with a few kicks of his own however they were also for nothing as Frieza kept on dodging. Frieza then lashed out with his tail, hitting Goku across the face and stunning him.

He performed a few more tail swipes before sending Goku backwards. He recovered and lunged into the air and landed easily atop one of the nearby rocks. The two conversed however I could only catch parts of it.

The problem was, even with his enhanced strength, Frieza was still faster than Goku. That didn't bode well. I kept on my guard, that way, if I needed to jump in, I'd be ready. The two remained motionless once again before Goku yelled "Fine! If you won't move, then I'm coming to you!"

He leapt forward and the two disappeared, we caught glimpses of them both. Goku kept trying to land hits, though he was doing about as well as I did, only landing every three to five hits. Eventually though they landed in a position in which Goku had firm hold of Frieza's tail.

Frieza tried to struggle free and I'm pretty sure I heard Goku insult Frieza's smell. Soon enough though, Goku began spinning Frieza around and threw him towards a mountain, he dashed after him and the two vanished once again.

Goku reappeared where I assume Frieza would have ended up, but I assume he had also disappeared as Goku just stood around on guard. Frieza tried attacking him again however this only resulted in a repeat of the previous scenario where Goku had hold of Frieza's tail.

This time Frieza acted quicker, with a knee attack followed by a few kicks. Goku responded with a few of his own and this lead to a back and forth between the two. Goku actually got a good kick in to Frieza's stomach but this was followed by Frieza kicking him in the face.

Abruptly though, Frieza lanced out with his tail and wrapped it around Goku's head, he began to squeeze and if he was successful, Goku's neck would snap or his skull would be crushed by the sheer force being applied.
