Chapter 90: The Final Wishes

Y/N POV

It felt like an eternity before we finally received news from Namek. According to King Kai, Frieza had been successfully defeated. However shortly after, planet Namek had exploded, taking Goku along with it.

I will admit, I was angered to hear this news. With Goku gone, I had lost my opportunity to get even with him after he completely surpassed me. The levels Goku had reached were far beyond my own and it would take a LOT of training to properly catch up.

Luckily, meeting Frieza had given me just the method in which to do that. Before I could start on any training though, there was one final order of business to take care of.

Timeskip...

In the time since we left Namek, the Namekian population had been housed at the Capsule Corporation building. Now one Namekian year had passed and their Dragon Balls were finally ready for use.

We all stood around, Dende was standing in front of the Namekian Dragon Balls. He began speaking in the Namekian language which I assume was the means of communicating with their dragon as the Dragon Balls began to glow and a pillar of light shot into the air!

The light took shape until it faded to reveal the same dragon that I saw back on Namek. It looked down at us and spoke "I WILL GRANT YOU THREE WISHES! NOW PROCEED WITH YOUR WISHES!" One of the Namekians stepped forward telling us "Go ahead my friend. We can wait another 130 days to start our new life." 

Bulma turned to the Dragon saying "Please bring Goku and Krillin to Earth's Check-In station." Dende made the wish in Namekian causing the dragon to say "OKAY!" Its eyes glowed red for a moment before saying "THE ONE CALLED KRILLIN IS AT THE EARTH'S CHECK-IN STATION!"

He then added "BUT THE ONE CALLED GOKU CANNOT BE BROUGHT TO THAT PLACE! HE IS ALIVE, IF I MOVED HIM THERE NOW, HE WOULD DIE!" This only raised another question, if he really was alive, why hadn't he come back?

That Namekian from earlier suggested that we simply wish him here. Bulma yelled "Let's bring Krillin back to life!" Dende spoke the wish and the dragon's eyes glowed once again and just like that, Krillin appeared in front of us.

He looked around, confused at what had happened before we were interrupted by the Dragon snapping "HEY, LET'S MOVE IT, ONE MORE WISH!" For that final wish Bulma yelled "Let's bring Goku back to Earth!"

The wish was spoken and we all waited in anticipation however the dragon spoke up informing us "IT CAN'T BE DONE! THE ONE CALLED GOKU REFUSES TO RETURN AND SAYS HE'LL COME BACK LATER!"

I was angered even more by this revelation, not only was Goku still alive, but he also refused to come back. I assume he had his reasoning though. I would just have to find out what that was when he finally DID return.

I was interrupted when I heard another Capsule Corporation ship take off. Looking around, I noticed that Vegeta wasn't present anymore. I assume he stole the ship when no one was looking. No big loss though, his absence was just what I needed.

Turning my attention back to the Dragon, I heard the others request that Yamcha be wished back to life next. The dragon accepted the wish however there was no sign of Yamcha anywhere. The dragon said "YOUR WISHES HAVE BEEN GRANTED, I TAKE MY LEAVE!"

In a flash of light, the dragon disappeared as I heard Bulma mutter "The dragon short-changed us." That's when we heard a voice saying "No he didn't!" Turning around, we saw Yamcha stood soaking wet.

Puar and Bulma both approached him while I just smiled to  myself. During our time on King Kai's planet, I had grown to respect Yamcha more than I had before.

Second Timeskip...

Another 130 days had passed since we made our last wishes and we were once again gathered outside Capsule Corp preparing to make three more wishes. Our first wish was used to bring back Chiaotzu.

I smiled even more as he materialized before us. Only it got better, as the second wish was used to bring Tien back as well. As they looked at one another I heard Chiaotzu ask "Are we-?" Tien nodded, making Chiaotzu tear up and leap into his arms crying "Tien! I can't believe it! We're home!"

It was at this point that I finally stepped forward saying in a calm voice "Hey." This made them both turn their attention to me. Chiaotzu exclaimed "Y/N!" before dashing towards me and tackling me into a hug.

Everyone clapped as I returned the hug gently saying "It's good to have you back." I turned my attention to Tien and asked "How are you holding up?" Tien smiled and said "Better now that I'm alive."

Tien then leaned forward and said "King Kai told us about your connection to Frieza. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you, it can't have been easy." I replied "It's okay." We then clasped our hands together and smiled.

Our attention then turned to the Namekians, with all our wishes done, it was finally time for them to return home. Just as I had thought, at first they were uncomfortable to have a member of Frieza's kind around however after Dende explained about my efforts, they calmed down.

Earlier we had the planet Namek restored so now it was time to send the Namekians back there. Dende said goodbye to Gohan and I stepped toward him saying "Hey kid." I gently placed my hand on his head and said "Take care of yourself" Dende smiled at me while the other Nameks all looked surprised, even though they had gotten used to my existence, they weren't used to someone like Frieza showing acts of kindness.

As soon as the wish was spoken, the dragon's eyes glowed and the Namekians except Piccolo all disappeared. We all just watched as I thought over everything that had happened since I was brought back to life.

Little did I know, Frieza was nothing compared to what was still to come...
