Master Plan - Part Two

Jess felt the pain ripple through her and stumbled backwards where she was caught by Isaac.

"Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realise that you were also bringing Derek to me." Gerard chuckled.

An arrow then flew past Gerard and Scott and struck Isaac in the shoulder causing him to groan and fall down with Jess. 

"Allison?" Scott questioned but didn't get a response. He rushed over to Jess and Isaac to help them up and take them into the other room. He pulled the arrow out of Isaac before rushing to his friend. "Jess, are you okay?"

"Just peachy, kid." She grumbled. "He's healing, it's okay. The pain should go soon."

"In the meantime..." Scott said as he took Jess' hand to take some of her pain. "Jess, you've got to stay here, okay?"

"No."

"He's right. Derek's fighting the kanima so he's only going to be getting more hurt meaning you're going to be an easier target." Isaac spoke as he took the girl's other hand to ease some more of her pain.

"Then let me get Jackson. I could try freezing him like I did with Isaac until we can find Lydia."

"Jess, no." Scott responded. "Isaac, we have to go help, Derek." The boy just nodded and shifted before walking towards the fight while Jess tried to heal. 

She started to feel okay once more so she made her way to where the fight was happening just in time to see the kanima slash its tallons through Derek's stomach causing both he and Jess to groan and fall to the floor. She crawled over to Derek and grabbed his hand as she tried to heal him.

"Jess, you have to get out of here." He said to her. 

"I'm not going anywhere." The witch quickly realised that the pain was too much so she couldn't focus on healing her boyfriend causing her to let out a frustrated sigh. 

Jess looked up just in time to see Allison approaching Isaac before slashing his stomach with a Chinese ring dagger then going behind him to stab him in both sides. Her eyes then landed on Derek, completely ignoring Jess. "Allison, no. Please, don't do this." She begged as Allison started walking towards the couple spinning her daggers.

"No, Allison!" Scott shouted, rushing forward only for the kanima to wrap its hands around the huntress' wrists making her drop her weapons before grabbing her throat.

"Not yet, Sweetheart." Gerard stated as the kanima's tail wrapped around Jess' wrist, dragging her over to it and Allison so it could hold her by the throat too.

"What are you doing?!" She questioned

"He's doing what he came here to do..." Scott answered, acting as though he had just pieced together Gerard's motive.

"Then you know." Gerard said to the boy.

"What's he talking about?" The girl asked.

"It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it? When I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?" The older man questioned Scott.

"He's dying." Jess panted, trying to get some air back into her lungs.

"I am. I have been for a while now, Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet... But the supernatural does." Gerard smirked at Derek who just continued glaring at him. 

"You monster." Chris growled.

"Not yet." Gerard laughed while rolling up his sleeve.

"What are you doing?" The female Argent asked. The kanima then raised the two girls up off the floor, restricting their air supply further.
