Jun busily set the table with Amber. Jin moved about, asking his extended family members where they were. Lars was setting up the tv to play music and Kazuya...
He was just lounging about, playing Candy Crush on his phone.
"Seriously, can't you at least help?" Lars hissed, trying to reach for the remote that Kazuya was sitting on. "Seriously! Kazuya, move!"
Kazuya frowned and scooted aside to let him take the remote.
"Let me play, this is a hard round," Kazuya said without looking away from his phone. "Been stuck in it for almost a month."
Lars sighed, shaking his head. He pressed a button on the remote to set up the tv, then took his phone out.
He smirked and selected a few songs, especially Kazuya's favourites.
Kazuya finished his round and started cheering. He looked up in surprise when he suddenly heard a familiar tune playing and saw Christmas Eve by Tatsuro Yamashita playing on the tv.
"You know this song?" Kazuya asked in surprise.
Lars rolled his eyes. "Kaz, everyone does. Especially the Christmas ones."
Kazuya nodded thoughtfully. "I see... well for a second, I thought you listen to this singer."
Lars smirked and played Daydream by Tatsuro Yamashita too.
"Oi!" Kazuya exclaimed in surprise. "Since when did you become an 80s lover?"
Lars just shrugged and pulled Kazuya off the couch, going to the previous song again to restart the playlist. He pulled Kazuya to the dining hall and forced him to help set the table.
"Help me bring the plates and dishes," Jun instructed as soon as they came in.
Kazuya groaned. "Why do you always give me a chore as soon as I come in?"
"Because you're lazy," Jun and Lars said together in unison.
Kazuya grunted and went to the kitchen to get the plates. Lars chuckled and helped Jun arrange the placemats. Kazuya returned with the plates and cutlery and arranged them on the placemats.
Jin came in just as Jun started arranging the napkins with Kazuya placing the cutlery on top of them. Their fingers brushed against each other, making them look at each other like lovestruck teenagers. Jin smiled and took a picture of them. He couldn't help but ship his parents whenever they do something together.
"Looks like a feast!" Jin said, putting his phone away. "Anyway, Steve says his gang is coming in a little late."
"Are his grandparents coming?" Jun asked, finally turning away from Kazuya's smile.
"Yep," Jin nodded. "They're over for Christmas too, and they're coming."
"Good," Jun nodded. "What about Hwo?"
Jin smirked. "You think he wouldn't come?"
"You're right, he would come even if he's not invited," Lars chuckled, placing the dishes of food on the table. "I think that's the last of it."
Jun frowned and looked at the table. "Lars, where's the turkey?"
There was a burning smell from the kitchen. Everyone gasped and ran to see...
The oven on fire.
With the turkey still inside.
"Oh no!" Jun groaned, running to turn the switch off.
Jin soon came with the fire extinguisher and put the fire out. Jun quickly grabbed the oven mittens and got the turkey out.
"That's not roasted, that's burnt!" Kazuya laughed.
"Seriously?!" Everyone exclaimed at the same time.
"Whose work is this?" Jun asked, putting the burnt turkey on the countertop. "I already took the turkey out just now. Who put it back in?"
Everyone looked at each other. Amber sighed and raised her hand.
"It was me..." she admitted. "I thought it needed more time to cook. And... yeah..."
"Great..." Jun sighed. "Now we have no turkey."
"On Christmas," Jin added, also sighing.
"You guys have turkey on Christmas?" Kazuya chimed in suddenly.
"Guys, just ignore him," Lars shook his head. "We need a plan B."
Jun pursed her lips and nervously tapped her foot on the ground. "We don't have another turkey, and I don't think we'll have enough time to cook it. Everyone's already on their way."
"Wanna roast chicken instead?" Jin shrugged. "I don't know what else to do."
"Or should we just go out and quickly buy pre-made roasted turkey?" Kazuya suggested. "It would be faster too."
Jun frowned thoughtfully. "I guess that could work too..."
So Kazuya, Jin, and Lars set out to hunt for freshly roasted turkey.

"Okay... where shall we start?" Lars asked as soon as they drove out of the building. "Where to buy turkey?"
"Roasted turkey," Jin corrected. "And where to buy?"
"Do they even sell those things?" Kazuya asked in surprise. "I mean... I've only seen raw turkey on sale, not roasted."
The other two sighed.
"He's right..." Lars finally said. "I don't think I've seen it around here in Japan either..."
"Let me search," Jin said, taking his phone out. "Let's see... where to get roasted chicken in Japan."
"You can't," Kazuya smirked. "Chicken is more common here than turkey."
Jin gasped. "Found one! It says here, 'Where to get roasted turkey in Tokyo!' What bit of luck!" Then he groaned. "They said turkey, but all of the articles show chicken."
Kazuya burst into laughter.
"Should we just get TFC or something?" Lars sighed, stopping the car at the side of the road with the hazard lights on. "Like... no turkey, no time to cook a new batch. So chicken is our lot?"
Jin started reading something on his phone with interest. "I found something." He smirked at last.
"What is it?" Kazuya asked, also interested.
"There's only one shop, in the whole of Tokyo that sells readymade, freshly baked turkey," Jin said looking up from his phone. "It's in Minato City, near Roppongi Hills."
"That's like ten minutes from here," Lars noted, turning the signal light on to turn back into the road. "Alright, let's roll."
They drove straight there, and to their surprise, it was swarming with people, mainly tourists. They could barely see the front door of the shop.
"Who's going?" Kazuya asked.
"I'm the one who drove here," Lars shrugged.
"I found the place," Jin added, raising his hands.
Kazuya sighed. "Unlock the car. I'll go."
Lars smirked and unlocked the doors, watching Kazuya get out from the front passenger seat and go towards the queue.
"Poor Dad," Jin chuckled, leaning back with his hands behind his head. He snorted when Kazuya stepped forward, moving along with the line, scratching the back of his head. "How long do you think it's gonna take?"
Lars shrugged. "Who knows?"
Jin leaned forward and watched. Kazuya was growing increasingly impatient, playing with the top of his hair as he waited.
"Yeah... it's gonna take forever," Jin sighed, leaning back again. He flinched when his phone vibrated suddenly, taking it out to see who it was. "Mom's calling..."
"Great..." Lars groaned, pausing the radio. "Just answer. I hope she's got good news."
Jin sighed and answered the call. "Hey, Mom."
"Did you guys manage to find roasted turkey?" Jun sounded hopeful.
"Yes and no," Jin answered, watching Kazuya still fidgeting with his hair while standing in line. "We found the only shop in Tokyo that sells roasted turkey, but the line is incredibly long."
"You're waiting in line now?" Jun asked in surprise. "It sounds incredibly quiet."
"Nah," Jin smirked. "Dad is. Lars and I are waiting in the car, Dad's waiting in line."
"Why are you guys so mean?" Jun didn't even sound like she was sorry for him, laughing instead.
Jin smirked. "Because Lars drove, I found the place and Dad did nothing."
"That makes sense, I guess," Jun chuckled. "Also, be here quick. Nina says she's on her way."
Jin gasped and started scratching Lars's shoulder for some reason.
"Stop scratching me, idiot," Lars scowled.
"Nina's on her way!" Jin exclaimed, much to his horror.
"Oh no!" Lars panicked. He quickly pulled his phone out and called Kazuya. "Yo, what's taking you so long?"
Kazuya turned around and gave them a confused gesture. "What do you mean? I'm waiting in line, can't you see?"
Jin put his phone on speaker and spoke to Kazuya instead. "Is there a lot of people inside?"
"I honestly have no idea," Kazuya sighed, turning back into the store.
"Kazuya?" Jun exclaimed in surprise.
"Jun?!" Kazuya gasped. "How come you're on the line? Did you teleport or something?"
"No, I'm on call with Jin," Jun explained. "You're in the car now?"
"I'm on call with Lars," Kazuya answered. "Also, I'll call you back. Everyone's giving me strange looks."
"Wait!" Lars exclaimed. "Ask them if they have turkey first. Nina's gang are on the way it seems."
"Nuts..." Kazuya groaned. "I'll call you guys later, okay? If there's no turkey, I'll just get chicken."
"No, you're just coming back if there's no turkey," Jun said. "We're rigging up chicken here just in case too."
"Okay," Kazuya said before hanging up.
They waited and waited. Kazuya was annoyed too, due to how cold it was. He was glad that it wasn't snowing.
It started snowing almost instantly, much to his dismay.
Kazuya sighed and stepped forward as the line moved.

"Finally!" Lars exclaimed as he unlocked the car for Kazuya to get in. "They have turkey right?"
"Yep," Kazuya sighed. "Also, thanks for making me freeze outside."
"You're welcome!" The two men exclaimed cheerfully, much to his dismay.
Kazuya just sighed, holding the turkey in place as Lars drove home.
It was a good thing the traffic wasn't so bad. The Mishimas ran home as soon as they can and proudly flourished the roasted turkey to Jun.
"Nice!" Jun smiled, taking it. "Smells really good too!"
So they finished setting the dining table and awaited their guests.

Nina and Adam's family arrived, with Steve holding a big bulging tote bag.
"Hi!" Jun greeted them with a warm smile.
They exchanged hugs and sat down in the living room.
"Hey Jin," Steve called, going towards his best friend. "Here, take this."
"What is it?" Jin asked, taking it. "You guys didn't have to bring something this big!"
"Aww don't be silly," Steve chuckled. "What's Christmas without stuffed turkey?"
The Mishimas looked at each other in surprise.
"Did you just say stuffed turkey?" Jin asked, surprised.
"Yep!" Steve grinned, pointing at the bag he just handed to Jin. "Freshly roasted stuffed turkey."
"It's the Wilsons' family recipe," Harper added proudly.
Kazuya sighed.
"Come on, guys, let's eat first," Jun changed the subject.
The doorbell rang again. Amber went to answer it.
Hwoarang and Baek walked in, both holding bulging totes.
"You know, you should really fix your security, Kazama," Hwoarang complained as he came in. "They kept bothering Master Baek for his identifications just because he shaved some of his beard!" He grinned widely when he spotted the large crowd of people. "Hey, guys!"
The Koreans just smiled at them and went over to the living room coffee table to lay down whatever they were carrying.
"Phew... what a load!" Hwoarang sighed, slumping down on the couch. "Kazama, we brought you lots of stuff."
"We brought turkey too," Baek added with a chuckle.
Kazuya was fuming. He glared at Jin and Lars, especially since they forced him to wait in line in the middle of snow while they just sat in a heated vehicle. The two of them looked away sheepishly, seeing how they now had an abundance of roasted turkey.
But before he could spit a cutting remark at them, the doorbell rang yet again. Amber opened, only to see the grinning faces of Anna and Lee, with the former holding their happy toddler.
Amber opened the door wider, and they came in. Lee was holding two large bags.
"Let me guess," Kazuya came forward with a scowl. "You guys brought turkey too?"
"How did you know?" Lee asked with a wide grin.
Kazuya just sighed and sat down.
It was a good thing Xiaoyu and her family didn't bring turkey. They just brought Dim Sum and dumplings. Asuka didn't come since she celebrated with Lili and their other friends.
They still had a very merry and hearty Christmas though, with a lot of guests and a lot of turkey.

Hey guys! I know, this chapter is a tad bit too late. I was really busy last week, what with Christmas and holidays and stuff, but yeah! Also, I might be uploading a New Year chapter tomorrow too. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter!
