♡✿ Chapter 28 Eri's smile... ✿♡

"Any pain?" The nurse asked.

"Nope! I feel all healed up!" I answered.

"That's good, I'll leave now and see how your sister is doing."

"Okay! Tell her I say "Hi" !" The nurse had walked out the door, leaving me with a coloring book in hand and a (sour/sweet) lollipop in my mouth.

It's been a week since the detective had asked me and my sister questions. Now it was just time to heal up. Luckily, my quirks had done that for me the third day we were in the hospital, Eri still had to heal. Physical, she's okay... but mentally, not much. Whenever I sleep in the same room as her, I hear her crying and screaming. I try to ease the pain and stop her night terrors by using my sleep quirk or my good luck quirk.

Some nights, Zaza (Aizawa) would sleep on the couch at the hospital with us. Sure, he'd leave the next morning but he always checked on us whenever he has the time during the day. He'd talk calmly and gently with my sister, making her feel comfortable.
We're lucky to have him.

"Knock, knock."

I looked back and saw just the person I was thinking about,"Zaza!" I jumped up and jumped from the bed into his arms,"Woah there kid!" Luckily he caught me.

"What are you doing here?"

"I brought the boys that saved Eri and you since your sister really wanted to see them."

I looked behind us and saw the same green haired broccoli boy along with the buff blonde.

If I'm being honest, I don't really like the blonde hero boy. He just left me and my sister to that man, it was like he didn't even care or felt so uncomfortable that all he wanted to do was leave. At least that broccoli hero did something and even tired to save us from that man!

I sightly waved at them before laying my head on Zaza's scarf, So soft! While he carried me towards Eri's room along with the boys following close by.

"Eri!" Both boys yelled excitedly before Zaza quickly placed me next to my older sister. I smiled up at her before hugging her. She blushed before looking back at the boys who've entered.

"Sorry I couldn't come see you sooner." Broccoli boy said.

"Here's a fruit basket! Eat some of you'd like!" Blondie said before handing the basket over to Eri,"Is there a fruit you girls like? Can I try guessing? It's peaches, right? 'Cause you're both like a peach!"

"Does he always talk this much? And was that an attempt at flirting??? We're Children, you dumbass!"

"Apple..." Eri said while holding the cute the basket up for me to see as well.

"That's what I thought!" Blondy quickly took the basket and take some apples out for us,"Then, let's peel it! Since its an apple!"

"I'd never tried an apple before..." I thought. My super sensitive hearing then kicking in once the doctor and nurse were talking about Eri's quirk. I listened carefully until Eri spoke,"This whole time, even when I had a fever, I was thinking... about when you rescued me. But I didn't know your name. I only knew Lemillion. I wanted yo know your name. " She referred to the broccoli boy.

His smile grew,"I'm Izuku Midoriya. My Hero name is Deku."

My eyes widened at word: hero.
"I'm surrounded by... heroes? Does that mean–"

"Um, maybe since Deku is shorter, it's easier to remember... Deku. I'm deku." Broccoli Deku said.

"Hero name?"

"It's like a nickname."

"Deku-San."

"That's right!" He nodded.

"Lemillion. Deku. And... that man wearing glasses... All of you... we're injured badly because of me. Because of me, you all suffered..." Eri's eyes had started to tear up,"I'm sorry... It... it was my fault that you lost your power, Lemillion..."

Blondy placed his hand onto her head before smiling,"Eri-chan. No one thought that were suffering. This is what we all think: "I'm glad Eri is okay!" There's no point in apologizing to someone who doesn't exist. Don't worry about it. Everyone fought because they wanted to see your smile!"

Eri looked at blondy before looking back at me but then suddenly made strange but cute noises. She even pulled her face until placing her hands down in defeat,"I'm sorry... How do you smile again...?"

I looked at my sister for a minute. Trying to think of a way how I could help her. Eri needed to smile. I want to see her smile. She's done so much for me but what do I do? Nothing. I can't even think of a way to help her. What do I do?

My hands held hers, tears had slipped pass my eyelids but I held a hopeful smile,"We'll figure it out. We always do."

She looked at me surprised before hugging me tightly, making me almost fall. Broccoli boy suddenly leapedfrom his chair and toward Zaza, "Mr. Aizawa! Could Eri and (Y/n) leave the hospital for just one day?"

"It's not impossible, but anyway, they're going to be--"

"Then, can they come, too?

Zaza's eyes widened, "I see..."

"The school festival. Can Eri and (Y/n) come too?"

"School festival?" Eri asked.

Blondy had a huge smile I'm his face and turned back to us,"Eri, this is a great idea! A school festival is a festival that takes place at our school! The people at school plan things for everyone at school to have fun, and they sell food-- Oh apples! There might be candy apples!"

"Candy apples...? She started to blush.

"It's a type of candy where they make apples--of all things--even sweeter!"

"Even sweeter..." I saw my sister start to drool of all the candy she could ever have. This made me, too, excited,"Even chocolate..?"

"Yes! All the chocolates and apple candies you can have!"

Now I was drooling too!

"All right. I'll talk it over with the principal."

"In that case... Eri, what do you think?"

"I... thought... about the people who saved me... when I was saved... I thought about how I wanted to know more about everyone."

"I'll tell you more than you want to know! Let's work on the principal, too, to get him to say "yes"!"

"Okay!"

"I'm on break from school right now, so I can stay with you both the whole time on our date!"

"Date?"

"Oh no..." My eyes widened,"Shut up, Lemillion!"

"An outing taken by a man and a woman who are intimate!"

"An outing taken by a man and a woman... " Eri repeats.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I shut Eri's mouth with my hands before she said the other word.

"Togata, what are you saying...? " Broccoli Deku said.

"We're Children!" I yelled but they just started to laugh,"Damn, morons..."
