gaten, noah, jack, caleb and i decided to all hang out at gaten & i's dorm. the rain let up a little bit but it was still drizzling outside.

" was i the only one who noticed finn acting different today? " noah said while looking at us.

" yeah he seemed upset or something. " jack added.

i looked over at gaten and shook my head, wondering what was going on with my friend. we finally made it back to the dorm room.

" pretty sure finn likes taylor and he's upset she spent the night here last night. " gaten spoke.

" woah what? " jack and noah said. " she slept here last night? "

" she just fell asleep here after a movie we watched. " i clarified. " nothing happened. "

" yeah but she slept in your room. " gaten said poking my chest. " she also changed into your shirt."

i laughed and slapped his arm.

" shut up gaten that doesn't mean anything. " i replied back earning smirks from the guys. " cut it out now. "

" does little joey have a crush? " jack teased squishing my cheeks.

i slapped his hand away and chuckled. " no i dont. but i wouldn't mind having a friend with benefits. "

" that always ends up in someone catching feelings. " gaten said sitting on the couch after coming from this room.

" shut up gaten. " jack said. " maybe taylor also wants that? "

" i don't know actually. we've never been anything but friends- " gaten had cut me off.

" yeah but you guys saw that kiss they shared! " gaten exclaimed.

" yup. i think we all felt the energy in the room after that. " noah laughed referring to steve's line in season two of stranger things.

" just gotta pretend you don't care. " i laughed.

" im going over to gatens dorm later. " i answered millie.

" you've been spending alot of time with joe. " sadie smirked. " something going on? "

" what? no! we're just friends! " i exclaimed rolling my eyes.

" did his shirt smell good at least? " millie asked. a confused look shot on my face.

" what? "

" y'know... you came back here with his shirt on. " millie replied.

i can never get a break can i?

" oh shut up. i haven't dated in a couple years but i'm okay with just a fling. " i said quietly.

" oh? is that so? " sadie giggled. " you guys would be cute together- "
