I just arrived at San Diego children's center. I head inside the building and greet everyone, my secretary Sasha gives me a run down of my schedule
I walk down to my office. I unlock the door, put my bag in the bottom drawer. I take a seat at the desk and turn on the computer, I get up and take a bottle water out the fridge that's over in the corner. I opened it up and drink the whole thing, l didn't realize how thirsty I was. I manage to eat half bagel before I left out the house, l called the comfort inn and book us a room for later this afternoon. I have three clients today
Somebody upstairs must love me
As long as no emergency walk in's don't come in l'll be in the clear,
My phone rings. I picked up and answers, Hello Lena Adams Foster speaking. I say to the unknown caller
Yes I would like to make an appointment for my daughter
The woman asks. Yes what's your child's name, Lena asked
Kennedy she replied. My earliest
is 9:30 am sharp, you need to come a little early to fill out the new patient registration paperwork okay
I have you marked down for 9:30 tomorrow. Lena tells the woman
Ok l look forward to meeting you
By the way my name is Jessica Michaels, she States. I will see tomorrow. Ms. Michaels, Lena ends the call, Lena carries on with the rest of her day. Sasha calls Lena on the intercom system to her 12:30 clients here, Lena informs Sasha she'll be out in a few minutes. Lena finishes up
An order for Stef, Lena wanted to send some flowers just because she loves her. Lena's waiting on the confirmation to come through
Finally it comes through, Stef should have her surprise with in two to three hours. Lena exits out of the site
She pushes her chair back and gets up from her desk, and walks out the office. Lena makes her way to the waiting room,  Morgan won't you come on back. Lena says to the twelve year old girl, Morgan follows Lena Down the hall. Lena's been seeing Morgan for seven months, Morgan has been diagnosed with mild PTSD
They enter inside Lena's office and Lena shuts her door. Lena gets out her pad and pen, to take notes. So Morgan how's everything going since our last visit, Lena asks the girl. I took your advice and join the swim team at school and made too new friends
Morgan. That's great has anything else been going on, what's going on at home. Sometimes Lena would have pry information out of Morgan, my mom is dating this new guy and I don't think he likes me hanging around much. Morgan says to me
How so? What does mother say
Lena questions Morgan, she's saying l'm being paranoid and it's all in my head, Morgan replied. How does that make you feel about it, cause I know it's been hard every since your past away. Lena said, it seems like l'm the one still grieving. Mrs. Adams Foster
She got rid of all my Daddy's things
I hate her, it's like she doesn't care anymore. I spoke to my grandparents
The other day, they said l could come and live with them. Morgan tells me
Lena realizes that the situation has gotten worse, Lena's heart goes out to Morgan. I'm sorry sweetheart your mother doesn't how much pain your in. Here's a suggestion maybe you can sit down and write her a letter, putting your feelings out on paper
Might help. Lena States, what good will that do. Morgan asks me
It gets all your anger out your system
Instead keeping it locked up inside
For our next appointment l want you to try the exercises l gave you to do
