The kids have gone to my parents for the weekend. I decided to make us a nice romantic dinner, Stef's upstairs taking a shower. I just got through with setting the table, we've been trying to keep everything normal as possible. I went into the kitchen and took the salmon out the oven, it's been such a long time since we had the house to ourselves. It's been a couple of days since my doctor's visit
We both worked full time jobs, but we managed to spend quality time with our children on the weekends. I been planting flowers and roses in my garden, that have helped me past the time. I brought a nice bottle of wine to go with our meal. Stef comes down stairs, and we sit at the table
She opens the wine with the cork screw and pours some in my glass
Then in hers, we begin eating and talking. Stef was telling me about the assignment she gave her students to do, she wanted them to do a self portrait of how they see themselves
I love how she gets passionate about her work. I take a sip of my achoalic beverage,  l eat majority of my salad and a half of my fish. For dessert
I went to Tiffany's bakery and got a strawberry cheesecake. After dinner
Stef cleared the table, while I went to turn on some music. Baby come dance with me please, l asked her
She came in and wrapped her arms around my waist. We sway to the slow song, she looked into my eyes with such love and admiration.
