It was the we hours of the morning
When I finally woken up to the sun shine. Shining through the vertical blinds, l was trying to get my mind to process yesterday's events. The only thing that stuck out to me, was Leaving the Los Angeles medical center. I sit up on the sofa bed
I slept on last night, Abigail came up to visit Lena. She apologize to me
For the way she misjudged me, l'm still kinda skeptical about the whole thing, Lena told her mother how she felt. I hated to see my poor baby hurting like this, if Abigail had been there for Lena. She wouldn't have never blown up the way she did,
I think it was a long overdue conversation Lena needed to have with her mom. I'm not sure how this will affect their relationship, Abigail left out here with tears in her eyes
My guess she didn't expect Lena to go off on her. I got up and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, Lena must have gotten up early. They changed her chemo schedule, now she has it in the mornings after breakfast. I decided to head down to the cafeteria and have something to eat, l'm dying for a cup of coffee. Lena will be gone for at least three hours, hopefully next week
She can come home for a week.
Lena's birthday is in a few weeks
I know the hospital is the last place she wants to be at, l probably go see the kids later on this afternoon.
I enter inside the cafeteria, walked up to the counter ordered my food
The man handed me a large cup
I headed over to where the drinks were. I poured myself some coffee
I added cream and sugar, l begin stirring the contents together
I took my tray and walked over to table in the corner. Doctors were coming in getting drinks and snacks
I paid no attention, l started eating my breakfast.
