The plane came to a screeching halt
I can't believe I slept the whole flight back to San Diego. I waited for the flight attendant to give us instructions for exiting the plane, when she finally did. I gathered my belongings and walk towards the exit, I walked down the escalator. That led down to the terminal, walking through the airport
It took me five minutes to reach the exit. The Lyft driver was outside waiting for me, l got in the vehicle
Buckle up my seat belt. It was overwhelming being back in San Diego, l've been gone for four days
I'm little nervous about facing my husband and daughter. I decided to head home first, to freshen up a bit
There was a detour up ahead, so the driver took a different route. I closed my eyes, to mental prepare myself
I don't know how l was going to explain my actions to Nathaniel
Because I was supposed to come back home yesterday. instead I stayed in California an extra day longer,
I reopened up my eyes. We were pulling up to the house, I didn't see Nathaniel or Kathleen's car parked in the driveway. There has to be some reasonable explanation, l thanked the driver. And exit the vehicle, l took out my keys and unlock the front door
Went inside. And was greeted by
Maddie our housekeeper, where is everyone. I asked her, the children are with their nanny and Mr. Nathaniel had to go handle some important business, she said to me
I nod my head. I decided to go upstairs, and went into the bedroom
I sat my luggage down. Took a seat on the bed, kicked off my shoes.
And I was just sitting there in slience
Staring at the walls, trying to fight the tears that was suddenly falling down my face. I know needed to get this out my system before going up to the hospital, l wipe my face with my hands. And got up from the bed
Walked straight into my bathroom
I turned on the shower, l quickly begin to get undressed and l stepped into the shower. There were so many thoughts rushing through me all at once,
