Once we returned back to the room
Stef helped me showered and got me
Settled in for the night. A nurse came in and took my vitals, and gave me something for my headache. We talked to the kids for a little while
My first round of chemo was hard
I was on the chemo port for two hours straight. Stef and I were in the middle of watching a movie, l ended falling asleep half way through. I'm being released on Friday and taken to Nova medical center of San Diego, l'll be a lot closer to home. I hate being far away from my children, for dinner this evening. I ate vegetable soup, a wheat roll. And for dessert l fresh fruit, Stef laid in bed with me until I fell asleep. I woke up around 3:00 am
in the dark, l reached over to turn on the light. I realize since I was admitted in the hospital yesterday
I was alone in the room by myself
I thought I would be okay with Stef leaving to go home and get some much needed rest, she promise she'll be back early tomorrow morning
Stef says she's spending the night with me. I have to go through this all over again, l got up out the bed to use the bathroom. I felt a little dizzy from getting up to fast, l relived myself
I washed my hands with soap and water. Splash some water on the face
I brushed my teeth, and exit the restroom and got back in bed
There's no way l'm going back to sleep
Cause I know as soon as I close my eyes. Another nurse will be coming into my room, to check my blood pressure and temperature. I turned on the TV, there's hardly anything on
But wait there's an old black and white movie on. I dim the nights Down low, I talked to with my Dad this evening. He asked me how I was doing, l had a hard explaining telling how I felt, l told him mom went up to my job behind my back and informed my boss l was sick. Dad was furious
That mother discussed my personal business without my consent, it's unfortunate she went out of town
The same day l had my first round of chemo. It sounds a little suspicious to me, my father agreed with me, as soon as I was about to close my eyes
Kim came in to check my vitals
I can't even have a decent night's sleep. Without the added interruptions, now if I was home
I would still be sleeping peaceful
Laying beside Stef in our king size bed
