Twenty three

I shot out of my bed with a gasp, I had another night mare, it was about Kiki.
I couldn't save her too, all I did was let people around Me die painful deaths, I glanced at the clock it was 5:40 am. I knew Trying to fall back asleep was just plain  fruitless, I tumbled out of bed, opened the curtain and saw the ground covered with fluffy snow. I looked at the houses lined up and how darkness enveloped them, no sound could even be heard. Kiki loved snow too, we were playing in the snow the first time I had seem her smile, maybe that's why I loved it so much.

I wasn't ever going to see her, she died, I wondered who collected her body from the clinic, did her parents bury her the proper way. She suffered so much, she only told me half of her story but I felt the extent of her pain. I felt like a hypocrite anytime I remembered her or keiran, after I had gotten released I never turned nor checked on them. Kiki had abandonment issues and I did just that.

I stood up from my window sill with a bitter sigh, and walked to the bathroom, keiran was going to pick me up today.
I did my morning routine and since today was Friday we had a uniform free day
Thank God, I couldn't handle skirt on a chilly day

Lotus outfit ^
I put my hair in a bun and put on my glasses.
I walked downstairs, grabbed my bag and pulled out my phone, it had been in there since I got home yesterday.
I had texts from Mal, mom and Ivan, I resisted the urge to text them back especially Ivan. I was not going to play the games of the heart anymore, logic had gotten me this far
My phone rang, and it was keiran, I took this as my cue to hike my backpack and lock up, I jogged to keiran ferrari f70,

The salvatore family were also rich and no matter how the father and son despised each other, Francesco never failed in putting up a perfect family front to the public.
I got into the heated car, I took a second to admire keiran's dressing

Keiran outfit ^
I swallowed and snapped my eyes back to the front
"Hey keiran "
"Lulu how are you" I laughed and narrowed my eyes at him
"I'm fine " he started the car and we begun the drive to school while talking about everything that had happened when I left the clinic
"Did Kiki have a proper burial" I asked
"Her siblings organised one for her, her parents didn't show up at all"
Kiki said her parents were always embarrassed for her, she never fit into their perfect family and cast her aside as soon as things got wrong .
She wasn't even sure if they were her parents with the way they treated her.
"They didn't even pay respects to her. It was sad lulu" I closed my eyes for a while
"After school can we go see her?" He nodded as we parked infront of the school.

The snow covered the school, it was white on the roof tops. It was extremely beautiful
What made it more beautiful was the most beautiful pair of citrine eyes staring at the car. Ivan was standing next to Aurelia

Ivan's outfit ^
I took a breath before opening the car and stepping out of the car.
Keiran interlocked our fingers together and pulled me gently into the school. I hiked my backpack higher when we passed by Ivan and Aurelia
I got a whiff of his nicotine smoky scent before I was dragged further by keiran. I looked back and saw my scrunchie on his left hand again. My eyes met his ,before it snapped back to Aurelia.

I turned my face around and focused on keiran as we walked into the school
He dropped me off at my locker before walking to his.
I watched as he walked with a confident gait and how his coat swept behind him
I really admired keiran a lot actually, I was snapped out of my day dream when I  heard footsteps
"Lotus" I mentally groaned at the sound of Aurelia voice.
I turned around and faced her, she was not alone.
My eyes immediately found his. I broke away from my haze.
" Hi everyone " I replied
She was about to say something but stopped when keiran came back
'So lotus aren't you going to introduce us to your new boyfriend " my eyes flicked to her what kind of sick game was she playing, I was about to say something when keiran cut me off
" I am keiran salvatore."
Aurelia beamed " hi keiran well I'm Aurelia..."
"How do you know each other " Ivan cut her off
"We met in a compromising way..." I covered his mouth with my hand
I knew where this was going to "smettila keiran " (Italian to English translation-stop it)
"Perche dovrei" he had that evil glint in his eye
(Italian to English translation-why should i)
"Ti faro del male se non lo fai " I glared at him
(Italian to English translation- I'll hurt you if you don't)
"Tutto bene" translation- okay.
Someone cleared their throat beside us, I had monetarily forgotten that we had company
"Sorry Aurelia " I apologised, I glanced at Ivan he was glaring at keiran who looked amused
"It's no problem, I was wondering if you'd like to come to a party that I'm hosting tomorrow."
I was about to decline when keiran answered "We'll be there " I looked at him panicky
"Sei arrabbiato." I tended to speak Italian when I was frustrated and keiran was doing a great job at that right now. Translation- are you mad.
"Probabilmente" I glared at him as he finalised the details with Aurelia
Ivan's eyes never left mine, I got goose bumbs from his gaze.
Aurelia talked things over with keiran while I stood there, she said goodbye and turned around walking away, Ivan looked at me for a moment before turning around as well.
