Chapter 7:food!

"if its not enough i still have more!i remember when we are only 8 Baihe on her first night here actually"

"Young miss i believe you!i believe you!dont say it i am begging!"

Baihe begged desperately when she remember the shameful moment!

"Okay when me and Huahua left,i was only 9 that time!Huahua "

"Young miss we believe you!okay what should we do with this plants?"

Gu Li-juan laugh again and start telling them what to do!

She let them pick almost all of the spices,

But she plan to process them tomorow because its a bit late now,

So she can only use spices that is no need to process!

She look at the spices and giggles!

Returning in the kitchen,Gu Li-juan sigh and decided to just try whatever is available!

So first she look around the kitchen and saw a fish!

Huge snapper fishes about 2 to 3 kg.each one of them,

So she nod and say

"Let us try this out!"

"Huahua you tell them to grill those fish!just rub a little salt on them and grill them!make sure that they wont burn it!"

Huahua nod and tell the kitchen on what to do theb turn to 3 remaining and said

Then she roll up her sleeves and get ready to work,

Her three handmaids shook

"Young miss!let us do this!we beg you!"

Gu Li-juan sigh and whisper

"I want to apologize for my family!remember i made a huge mistake right?"

Her maidservant look at her not believing her at all!

Then she add

"I will make a secret recipe!i think i should let those servant cook it for me?"

They all look at her and exactly Huahua came back so they all look at Huahua waiting for her to decide.

After contimplating for a while she finally gave in.

So all of them worked together!

Lianhua will minced the chicken,

Mudan boil the chicken bones,

Gu Li-juan taught Huahua how to make dumpling wrapper and

Baihe helped Gu Li-juan to chop and cut the spices she neede.

When everything is ready,she first mix the chicken dumplings,then teach them again on how to wrapped them nicely.

Then she stir fry the spices she needed for the grill fishes and she put a lot of tomatoes on it.

Then when the chicken stock is ready she made a white sauce for their styr fry vegetables.

And the last is the egg drop soup!

Her maidservants eyes widen when all the dishes was ready!

It was the first time they saw colorful dishes!

They only know that cooking is about,grill,fried and steam!

Gu Li-juan excitedly look at the time and saw that it was almost time for dinner so she hurriedly back to her courtyard to freshen up.

Her family eyes widen when they saw the foods on the table

"Mother did we changed our chef?"

Her eldest brother Gu Ping asked

"No!i wonder how?"

Hu Ning was skeptical as well

"Then who?"

The second brother Gu Ru said

"Li-juan and her maidservants just leran how to use the plants that was given to father months ago!Li-juan didnt expect that it will turn out this way!"

They look at her still didnt believe so she use her most powerful weapon!

She look down and ask softly

"Does no one believes Li-juan?i also tried to cook as my apology!"

"No!mother believe in our baby!we are just shocked!can mother try?"

Gu Li-juan eyes brighten

"Mother go ahead!try the vegetables!Li-juan and the rest make a special sauce for this!"

Hu Ning try the styr fry vegetable and her eyes widen

"Daughter this is delicious!"

The whole family also tried and they marvelled at the taste

"The other fish has a little wierd taste,Li-juan mean its hot when you eat!"

Gu Minzhe took a bit and tastes,

"Hmm!this is different!"

"But the other one doesnt have this hot feeling,so there is two kinds"

"This what Li-juan want to call dumplings!because they are kind of plump and cute"

But no one was listening so she start eating as well.

After the satisfying food they all look at her with burning eyes

Gu Li-juan laugh and ask for permission

"Is Li-juan can cook?can Li-juan enter the kitchen anytime?"

The whole family was contemplating,because it is not good to let the young miss prepare the meal!

But if its for the parents its called filial peity right?

So they agreed but as long as she wont get hurt!
