(Y/N) silently listened to the brief answers Daniel sends to their mom with each question, twiddling her fingers as she boarded the bus.

To be honest, she also wants to talk to her mom. But it would probably be awkward for not only her but for her brother if she just pipes up and ask to borrow the phone...

The girl shook her head as she sits down first. Daniel looked hesitant.

"But I want the seat by the window..."

"I got here first," (Y/N) frowned and did not move.

Therefore, the other was forced to sit down on the other seat, closer to the aisle than the window.

The (h/c) haired girl reached out to her pocket to slip a pair of earbuds in her ears. If she was forced to an awkward bus ride to the new place, she might as well try her best to ignore the unpleasant company.

She fixes her eyes to the view that starts slightly blurring past.

Jae Won High School, huh...

She already said her farewells to people who would probably wonder where she went. The people in the gym mourned her leaving, even going as far as groveling in the floor just so she wouldn't go.

One was heartbroken when he realized their Saturday match will no longer happen, and insisted they duke it out that day instead.

(Of course she won.)

The other newbie tried not to show his disappointment, but it was too obvious from how he punches his bag half-heartedly.

"It's not like I won't visit," she huffed at them.

"Really?!"

"Yeah. I'll come by when I can, I guess..."

"Try not to get too rusty while you're in there!"

"You wish."

And that was how the farewells in her part-time went. She even got a wad of cash as "farewell gift" or something, as the trainers there insisted she take.

Not too long later, (Y/N) is finally stretching out her arms after hours of being inside the bus. She felt a few bones pop satisfyingly.

"Listen," she started as soon as Daniel was able to push his way out the bus. "I don't care much about whatever you do when we get there. Just don't...I don't know, bother anyone else."

"It's not like I wanted to be bothered too," muttered the older boy bitterly.

(Y/N) immediately began a mental rundown of things she decides she should do if she was going to take this seriously.

Another job hunt is necessary, she supposes. Her mom may have said not to worry about money, but there was no way she'd do that.

Is it easier to find one in the area? The first time she hunted for a part-time, she ended up not doing what she originally asked for and became a sparring partner for the regulars in the gyms...

She might as well skip the first day of second semester.

She pointedly ignored the two dogs going at it on the way to the house, but she noticed the burning stare Daniel gave it. Whatever inner monologue he was having, she feels as if she doesn't want to hear it.

As soon as she dropped off her bag, (Y/N) hurried outside the house. There was no harm in exploring for a bit, right?

Come to think of it, it was also somewhere around Seoul where that guy lives, right?

It wasn't the first time she had been in this area. However, memories of her time then has turned vague, considering they were memories of a six year old.
