Today, Jiho Park has come to school again. Which was good, considering if he didn't, she probably would've interrogated everyone where he was living just to ask what the hell is up after what happened in the convenience store.

She refused to look at him last night just because she doesn't want a feeling of responsibility to bubble up in her.

(Y/N) wouldn't outwardly admit it...but she partially feels it was her fault when she kept pushing at him to do something about himself.

As for sniffing out whether or not that John and Jake were good people, that's was his duty. She didn't feel an ounce of guilt about that.

Something definitely feels fishy about the latter, though. Samuel has so kindly informed her that night of how Jake was part of something that might be quite dangerous.

It almost feels like a prologue to a bigger event.

Hm...should she ask Eli if he knows what's going on? But he's been doing fine lately. (Y/N) might feel bad if she accidentally brings up bad memories.

Surprisingly, Jiho approached her during break time.

"(Y/N)..." he says hesitantly. The girl keep her eyes locked on the notes she wrote. She can't understand half of what was there because of how fast she was writing.

Nevertheless, she hummed as indication that she can hear him.

"Thank you."

There was a long silence after that. When she looked up, she just realized Jiho has left without explaining anything about what the thank you was for. He was already back at his seat...

(Y/N) was left staring in disbelief at the empty space in front of her. Confused was probably the best word to describe what she was feeling at the moment.

She was only snapped out of her confused state as soon as her ears caught the sound Zoe's voice speaking loudly in the classroom.

"Daniel~! The sports day is just around the corner."

"What?" Daniel asks, obvious confused. "Sports day?"

"Yes. It's about to start. Are you going to participate? Could...could piggy hang out at sports day?"

From her seat, the (h/c) haired girl looks away to hide her snicker. Has she finally made up her mind?

Later on, the class president already made his way to the board just to assign who will be playing for which sport. The girl considers it for a while, whether or not to join the relay.

The choice was made for her when Jay raised his hand for the last spot though.

The sports festival has passed by in a flash. To be honest, (Y/N) did nothing the whole time except for pretending to be cheering for her classmates and passing water bottles to anyone that looks like they're on the verge of collapsing.

The only highlight was that they won. And winning means an after-party, which also means free food.

During the entire after party, though, something really weird was going on with Zack.

He was sulking not too long after he betrayed the fashion dept to do the relay with Eli (which, by the way, was something (Y/N) found very entertaining since her friend got very competitive then). But he was all happy not too long after. He was even catching everything that Mira 'accidentally' drops.

So when the perfect chance for payback after forcefully feeding her dogfood came, she did not hesitate to take it.

"Tonight," she says on the phone, eyes glued to the darkening sky. "There will be a heavy rain."
