"Today," Eli says as he passes by during lunch. He made sure his voice was loud enough for her to hear. "I got my hands on products on sale. I could probably cook something nice. Feel free to come by."

And then he steps further and further way after saying his part.

(Y/N) tilts her head and mulls over his words. She still carries her tray in hand as she looks for somewhere to sit.

Somehow, the only free one is the table right next to a familiar face. It was the boy she sat with in the bus during retreat.

What was his name again? Jee...Jiho Park, right? She kind of remembers since they've actually shared a conversation in the past.

She approached him rather hesitantly. It seems the boy didn't even notice her presence.

"Hey, can I sit here?" she asks to alert him that she's there.

The glasses boy almost shot out of his seat in surprise. He looks at her for a few seconds, and immediately lowered his eyes and head.

"Go ahead."

The (h/c) haired girl watches him curiously as she sits down. After all, she still faintly remembers the conversation they had in the past.

It was genuine curiosity that prompted her to ask.

"So, bet you're doing as good as ever, huh?"

Jiho Park flinches.

"He frequently asks to sit with you, doesn't he? Daniel, I mean. Maybe not tofay because he's drunk. You...are you still letting others push you around?"

"This talk again..."

"What was that?"

He looks back at her, so obviously nervous based on the shaky smile and the cold sweat in his forehead. "It's quiet recently, so yes I'm fine."

That wasn't her question though.

But then again, it wasn't her business, regardless of what kind of trouble he's facing. Hadn't she already said not to interfere unless she was asked to?

And it wasn't like she's friends with Jiho Park.

(Y/N) sighs, trying to keep her exasperation less obvious.

The girl diverts her attention to somewhere more interesting. Jiho fades into the background as soon as she does so. That guy...he really has no presence, huh?

She watches silently as an upperclassman steps in during the fight between her brother and Vasco. Cafeteria food slips through her lips as she watches, unamused.

Things took a twist as Daniel approaches Crystal while she was talking to...Eli? Huh.

It's not unusual to see him talking to others anymore. But with the way they stand around, it seems there was something a little more serious that was exchanged during that conversation.

Crystal ran off with her brother following after her.

Girls immediately mobbed the only boy of the fashion department.

"Tell me your number!"

"What're you doing after school?"

"Sorry, I don't have a phone."

She almost snorts.

This liar...She clearly remembers giving him her old one because the one he had was so outdated. After all, she had the new phone she got from Yoojun.

If she was a little too gleeful in giving away the device...it was no one's business.

"Do you really...think I can do something?"
