"It's not what it looks like!"

"What was this supposed to even look like?" (Y/N) deadpanned at her panicking brother. The tall and handsome body lay uselessly between them, unwaking.

"He's..." Daniel fumbled as he tried to explain the situation. "He's a friend! Yeah, he's a friend...Not a bully, of course. Haha..."

The (h/c) haired girl raised an eyebrow, taking note of the cold sweat running down his temple. He refused to make eye contact with her, gaze flitting back and forth as if he was uncomfortable.

It wasn't an unusual occurence, but it was more than usual.

"You don't have friends."

"I actually do, thank you. That's rude."

"Is narcolepsy contagious?" she asked suspiciously.

"No...?"

"What a coincidence, then," she leaned back, allowing sarcasm to drip from her words. "Not too long ago you passed out after I woke you up. Then a random guy showed up in the house, and when I woke you up, this stranger suddenly passed out."

Daniel grew more and more nervous with each word she lets go.

"Is there something you'd like to tell me?"

"...You won't believe me."

"Uh-huh."

"...If I tell you, you won't take me to the hospital, will you?"

"Debatable," (Y/N) plops another lollipop from nowhere to her mouth. "Stop stalling."

When he told himself he won't be telling anyone, Daniel didn't think he'd be busted not even an entire day through. But then again, it would be difficult to hide things from someone stuck with you in the same house.

He weighed the pros and cons of telling his sister about the situation.

First of all, it was obvious that she doesn't care much about him. She barely spared him a glance in their previous school, and she easily gets mad at him.

He knew she is only asking not because she is worried, but because she is sniffing out that he's hiding something.

(Once upon a time, when they were still close, he wouldn't have been worrying about sharing his secrets with her. But things change, he supposes.)

But then again, if he didn't tell her the truth, she'd immediately notice something is wrong the next day, when he goes to school with his new body, claiming to be Daniel Park.

She might call him out for the lie, even if it technically wasn't. After all, she only knows the version of him that is laughed at by everyone.

It was scary not knowing what might happen if he tells her.

"The truth is..." Daniel awkwardly started, keeping his eyes trained on his other body. "IwokeupyesterdaywithanotherbodyforsomereasonandIcantfindanyhelpintheinternetsoIjustdecidedtonotquestionit."

(Y/N) stared at him as if he'd gone crazy. Daniel hoped she didn't catch most of what he said.

"You woke up with another body?" she repeated slowly, pointing down at the one passed out on the floor.

There goes his hopes of her not understanding.

The girl seemed to be seriously debating whether or not to call someone for help. As if she is concerned about the mental health of the person she's living with.

"Answer me."

"Yes I did!" he blurted nervously. Whispers of students from their former school echoed in his mind, about how his sister can beat anyone who messes with her to a pulp.
