I stirred in my sleep at the sound of a door opening.
“Wees” GG called and climbed on my bed.
I ignored her and snuggled into my pillow.
“I know you are awake”
I ignored.
I heard her giggle evilly.
What is that evil mind of hers cooking up?
“INCOMINNNGGG!” she announced loudly and jumped on my body.
“Ow!” I groaned painfully, “you little piece of_”
She dashed out of my room screaming before I could get hold of her.
I tossed my blanket aside and ran after her. I stumbled a few times tripping over my blanket before making it to the door.
She was taking baby steps down the stairs and screaming “MOMMMYYY!!” on top of her lungs.
Damn that girl can scream.
“Rhys don’t you dare lay a finger on your little sister” mom appeared at the bottom of the stairs and chided.
I froze at the top of the stairs, “But_” I tried to protest.
“No buts” mom cut me off.
I pouted.
This is definitely not how I thought my Saturday was going to begin.
GG smiled victoriously and stuck out her tongue at me.
“Mom!” I whined, stumping my feet.
“How can you even think of hurting this little sweetheart?” mom kissed the top of her head.
Sweetheart my foot!
GG batted her lashes innocently.
“You two are making a hell lot of noise” Shawn complained and shut the door of his room.
He rubbed his eyes sleepily and walked towards me. He yawned, “What did GG do?”
“Dad, I didn’t_”
“I’m hearing none of that” Shawn cut her off.
“Mom’s little sweetheart here tried to kill me in my sleep”
“I see” Shawn purred. He zeroed his eyes on GG.
She visibly gulped.
“We don’t have to do this dad?” she tried to reason.
I smirked. This has got to be good.
“Oh, really?” Shawn questioned with a blank look on his face.
He took a step forward.
She took a step backward.
He took another.
