just saying i changed the person getting saved from the car to pepper

"y/nnnn" nat says knocking on my door. i go over and open it "can i come in?" she questions i nod stepping aside so she could walk in. 

"whats up?" i question it was later 9 or 10 maybe 

"tonys throwing a party" she says 

"what?  now?" i question 

"mhm, since the late notice its not gonna be as big as the famous stark party but good 100 people" 

"when is it?" i ask again

"11, but you can leave around 1130 since you have school tomorrow, i tried to get stark to move it but he wants you to meet people now i guess, i don't know he's quite impatient"

"eh id be up till 4 anyway" but then i realise something "uh do you know whos going" 

"the usual probably, mostly starks friends" nat asks "why?" she questions but then realises 

"ill be behind the bar if you need anything wanda always stays close to me as well, im sure you will meet pepper tonight to shes very nice" i nod at this information but i can tell most likely it will be a room full of men. and i would be scared. 

"yeah okay. Only half an hour? " 

"only half an hour" nat confirms when wanda walks in 

"hey sorry to just walk in but the door was open and-"

"no for you two its fine" i smile. they smile before wanda begins again

"anyway i dont think you have anything did you want to try something of mine or nats, nat has suits to if you's rather that"

"i- i dont really know, ive never dressed up" i admit, wandas face lights up

"will you come with me?" she questions i nod getting up, natasha follows. 

wanda puts on some music while getting out some options she think will fit me it was only like 3 there. "okay i think these may fit you, sorry everything else is probably to big but try these on if you want" she says, i grab a black suit first with a red tie, wanda says it was nat's from a couple years ago. i went into wandas bathroom putting it on honestly i liked it tad big but not to noticeable. i didnt like dresses not after that night so i very very very rarely wear them i think ive worn 1 in the past 3 years and that was only a nighty of mj's. still after around 20 minutes i put tights on underneath. i open the door again awkwardly standing in the door frame

"love it" nat smirks giving me a thumbs up from laying on wandas bed 

" you look amazing " wanda says "if your happy with that thats the one" 

"yeah i like it, its okay i wear it right" i ask directing the question more to nat as it was her clothes

"yeah of course hun it looks great" nat does a thumbs up winking. (which looked like the iconic pugh wink)

"okay" i smile 

"now for your hair? any ideas" wanda asks, 

"just a bun i guess" i rarely do my hair. according to wanda natasha was the best at hair followed closely by thor then herself. nat could do the most intricate on braids or anything it was amazing 

we finished my hair pretty quickly and they asked if i could stay to give my opinion on their outfits. i said i would be no hep but they insisted. 

around an hour later we were all heading to the party it started 10 minutes ago and nat said were were still early.

both wanda and nat assured me it was okay and showed me where they would be hanging out most of the night and pointed to a quiet room and the bathrooms in case it got to much. i thanked them going to the back corner to sit on a couch. i could see everyone from here and it made people watching easy. i noticed a couple guys touching people that was disgusting so i made sure to stay away from them. 

 a lady with strawberry blond hair comes up to me. "y/n right nat and tony have told me alot about you" she smiles sitting next to me crossing 1 leg over the other. 

"oh hi?" 

"i came to warn you tony was talking about you he will most likely come get you to meet people soon" pepper explains and i nod . i could only sit down for maybe a minute until tony brought me around meeting people leaving pepper to go to the bar.

around 20 minutes later i could almost go to bed when some very wasted man sat next to me. 

"back in my day woman didnt wear suits, its disgusting they do now. women should wear dresses and have their hair done nice face of make up and heals on, not whatever get up is going on here" he scouls 

"yeah and in my day women wear what we want" i say unable to stop myself. i know ive just made this alot worse. tony had put me under a no powers thing for this party so i cant burn this bastards balls. 

he pulls something out of his jacket and presses it against my back it felt like a barrel of a gun. "your coming with me sweetheart" he whispers in my ear. 

my heartrate picks up and he walks us to the bar. the bartender was not nat but with my not so good eye directions the bartender realised and got nat who was serving someone else, 

"hey kid whos this" nat smiles fooled to the mans classy look

"shes mine beautiful but theres plenty of me to go around" he laughs putting a hand around the back of my neck squeezing it slightly. i looked panicked at nat and she instantly got the message 

"im going to need you to leave sir" she says calmly 

"i was invited here personally by tony so im good" he says walking us away. through many busy crowds to loose nats gaze. im scared.
