Chapter 16: Confession

♡  Alaiya's POV:  ♡

"Alright, I will be picking the room arrangements." Ivy starts as we've all taken a seat on the nice, long, black couch that is built in an L shape.

Skyler gasps. "All the girls should sleep in the same room!"

"Hell no!" all the guys reject that idea the minute it's brought to the table.

"Okay, so Skyler and Sanchez, you guys are in the first room to the right in the basement. Iris and Legend, you guys are in the basement too, right down the hall. The upstairs portion will be for the kids and the parents can decide how they sleep."

"I wanna share a room with Autumn!" Violet exclaims excitedly.

"Me too!" Hope joins in.

I think the best part of being so close with everyone is that the kids actually get along. They still have their little disputes, but they make up at the end of the day and want to see each other the minute they're apart. I know that I always wanted a big family where if I couldn't talk to one person, another would understand. I'm glad that Autumn, Dayton, and Aubrey will have that.

"Roman and Alaiya, you guys are in the bedroom on the main floor down the hall and you can have the mini room next door for Aubrey and Dayton. Bethane and Rider, you're in front of them and there's also a mini room next to that for Josephine or Leah, and then Kai and I will be on the fourth floor."

"Why the fuck do you get the fourth floor all to yourself?" Sanchez points out the unfairness of the arrangement.

"Sanchez, don't be so inconsiderate. You know dogs need to have room to play around." Rider shakes his head in disappointment.

"I swear to god-." Ivy takes off her heel and is about to go swinging as Rider lets out his famous scream, but thankfully, Eldon quickly grabs her and pulls her back.

"Someone wasn't let out of her doggy cage today," Rider scoffs.

Oh boy.

"No more dog jokes." Eldon gives a pointed look towards Rider and Roman just in case either one of them gets any ideas.

Both Roman and Rider hold their hands up in surrender, holding in their laughs at the reaction they got out of Ivy.

The next day, or should I say the same day since we all went to bed at seven in the morning and woke up at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, Eldon goes down a list of things on how this will work, precautions we have to take, and things we can and cannot do.

"Wait! We can't leave the house!" Rider says shocked as if that wasn't the whole point of hiding.

"No shit Sherlock," Roman grumbles from beside me.

"How will Sanchez take care of his fake perm?"

We all choke on a laugh immediately.

He's going after everyone at this point.

Sanchez grabs a pillow and chucks it right at Rider's face. Rider dramatically pretends to get knocked out as he twirls around, falling to the couch which makes all the kids laugh.

Ivy all of a sudden gasps as she looks at her burner laptop which all of us got since they can't be used to track our locations. We all look over at her.

"Pretty Much Anything just posted a magazine on me!" Ivy shows us the picture of her walking out for one of her fashion shows. "Ivy Hale; is shown to be one of the best upcoming designers in the current generation. But is cheating on her husband worth it?" she reads oddly excited.
