Tina was surprised to see you enter her and Callahan's restaurant, as expected, but you treated it like just another, normal day. After all, this was not at all abnormal to you, so seeing how everybody started whispering when you and Aimsey sat down, was actually quite amusing to you. Some started taking pictures, other just mumbled and got anxious, but you didn't pay them any mind. Aimsey simply smiled at them as if it were nothing.

So, now you're eating the most delicious meal you could've chosen while Aimsey is also eating, just for the sake of showing some respect to the staff. With a smile on her face, she watches you enjoy your food, watching as your messy hair almost gets in the way due to the fact you've never bothered to take care of it properly. But that's a problem that you've had for a long time already.

Ever since Aimsey was created, she's felt loved by you. Pretty much every single memory that had you in it, is a positive one. Of course, there were some trickier moments, but nothing that could really make Aimsey see you as a bad parent. You've always made sure she had what she needed and for that, she is grateful. However, there is one thing that she's always noticed. Your lack of self-care.

As soon as her mind had transferred to the body she has now, Aimsey started noticing it. The nails which you bit off regularly, your dirty teeth, your uncombed hair. Especially when you had to take over Schlatt's job, you neglected your own well-being. You barely took your medication, until Aimsey was the one to help you out with it. And whenever she or George brought it up to you, you always used the same excuse.

"I have more important things to do."

"Work can't wait, the shower can."

"Later, I really have to focus on this now."

No matter how amazingly you took care of her, you never seemed to take care of yourself. Which is also the main reason Aimsey now tries to take care of you. And your hair should be a start.

"Maybe we should go to the barber today," Aimsey comments, hoping this could be a good start to the conversation. Confusedly, you look up at her words, food still in your mouth, as you hum questioningly. "Well, you look awesome and all, but your hair is not even, if that makes sense. The one half grows quicker than the other."

"I look fabulous, how dare you?!" you react, jokingly offended as you put one hand on your chest and Aimsey laughs.

"Even if you're not being serious, I am. Your hair is in general longer than it used to be, but I do think it would be healthy to just cut off the dead ends." You let out a sigh. It's a kind sigh, but it's still one that hurts Aimsey almost physically.

"Is that really what you want?"

"We don't have to cut it. I mean, I think you'd look amazing in it, Momsey, but as long as it's taken care of better."

"Then we'll go to the barber after we've finished our food." After you say this, you continue eating, but Aimsey can't really do anything other than watch you doing this. After all, she's just going through the information that she has stored in her brain, some of which are things she'd rather forget. But unfortunately, it seems like no matter how many times she tries to delete the files regarding things she wants to forget, she keeps to be reminded of them somehow.

One of the main things on her mind at the moment, are George's words. "Stop treating her like your child, by the way, Y/N. She's a robot. A machine. Before you know it, you won't be able to tell robots from humans anymore." Words which shouldn't hurt Aimsey as much as they do. He is right, after all. Aimsey is a robot: a machine. And thanks to your illness, you'd already started hallucinating of something that you thought to be real. So, realistically, he wasn't incorrect. It still hurts Aimsey, though. There have only been a few people to treat her like an actual person, most of whom didn't even realize she is made out of metal.
