The misconnection

When they reached home, the sope duo was met with a lot of explanations, questions and hugs. Hobi apologized for running off but was interrupted by jin who asked him to get changed first in case he catches a cold.

Hobi nodded as he went away. " Where's jimin?" Taehyung asked. " Isn't he back yet?" Yoongi asked. " Wasn't he with you?" Taehyung probed.

And as if on cue, jimin entered the house equally drenched and carrying bags. "Kimchi fried rice, bulgogi, sprite, chips, chocolates and ice cream" jimin announced setting the bags down with Jungkook's help. "Hobi's favorites" Yoongi said observantly as Jimin nodded."Both of you go change. Now!" Jin said in a scary tone making the two men run away quickly. "Can't believe the tiniest of us found them before we could" Jungkook joked earning looks. "Just joking" he added defensively. 

They all had a hearty dinner and laughed and joked around, before heading off to sleep in their  respective rooms. Hobi was stuffing a little suitcase with clothes and some necessities that he might require, when he heard a knock on his door and a second later his doorknob was twisted slightly, luckily Hobi had locked his door beforehand.  He quickly hid the mess and the suitcase full of clothes, before opening the door to find a sleepy Yoongi at the door. 

"You never lock the door?" Yoongi said as he stifled a yawn and rubbed his eye. "Just needed tonight to myself" Hobi answered. "I'll go back then" Yoongi said turning around. "Yoongi" Hobi started to say. "It's alright Hobi. But, I'll be back tomorrow for my share of cuddles" Yoongi said adamantly. That's hen Taehyung popped out of nowhere and said, "Hyung! My wife messaged me! She did it herself despite being shy. "

"I think Jungkook made it clear that she isn't your wife" Yoongi said uninterested. "Wait no that's not the point. She said that we should tell her if Alesha contacts any of us, because apparently she is nowhere to be found." Taehyung said sounding deep in thought. "What?!" Hobi snapped. "Hobi calm down" Yoongi said and then asked Taehyung to explain it all.

"When the news leaked out, meera was worried and tried to contact Alesha. When Alesha didn't pick up or respond, Meera got worried and asked one of Alesha's friend to check on her because apparently my wife lives too far away. But, when the friend reached her apartment and entered with the spare key, her room was empty. The friend checked the room, kitchen, spare room and bedroom, but she was nowhere to be found. Her phone wasn't in place either. It hasn't been 24 hours so they can't file a missing complaint either. She probably went out on her own or something." Taehyung explained quickly under Yoongi's threatening gaze.

"When did this happen?" Hobi asked. " What?" taehyung asked innocently. "All this?" Hobi quizzed. "I don't really know. I was busy either dreaming about my wife or talking to her, but she told me a few minutes ago" Taehyung answered. "First of all, you should have checked properly if it really is Meera, it could be one of the dispatch people doing stuff again" Yoongi reprimanded sternly. "But, she is the only Meera that Alesha follows." Taehyung pouted. "Oh great now you're a stalker" Yoongi said throwing his hands in the air brfore turning to look at the quiet Hobi.

"Hey, I know you're worried. But, being worried isn't going to help at all. If anything you should rest now. We'll talk about this in the morning. Taehyung keep us updated with anything your wife tells us" Yoongi said to Hobi and Taehyung. "Finally you admitted that she is my wife. My Mrs.Kim" taehyung said earning himself a whack from yoongi. "Rest well Hoba" Yoongi said dragging Taehyung away with him. Hobi faked a smile at them. But, his face fell the very moment, he locked the door.

"It's my fault again" he thought as he pressed his back onto the door and slid downwards till his body met the floor. This time it didn't take him long to gather himself up and continue packing his bags.
