"Taehyung-ah, you're up. Finally. I was worried you were hibernating" she said as she forced a smile and tried to divert the topic. "You have a boyfriend? Meera told me that you are single" Taehyung voiced out. "You lied?" Hoseok questioned. "You're not single?"Dhruv asked coming up from behind followed by Jungkook and Bang-PD. "Of course she isn't. Hoseok is dating her." Bang-PD answered confidently. "No, I'm not!" Hoseok strongly refuted, his eyes laced with anger.

"Let her explain" Jin said placing his hand over Hoseok's shoulder. "If it isn't Hoseok. Does it mean it's...?" Dhruv said looking up. "It's him isn't it?" Dhruv asked angrily. "It's not what it seems like" she tried to say.

"Give me your phone" Dhruv said angrily. "Give it" he yelled in a louder tone this time. " I'm sorry" she said as she stepped farther away. "Wait, she isn't dating Hoseok?" Bang-PD asked still seeming pretty confused. "For the last time. No, they are not" Jimin answered strongly.

"Does Meera know?" Dhruv asked. "Does she?" he repeated in a raised tone. "No..." Alesha answered meekly. "Out of all the people out there. You had to fucking fall for that one person we told you to stay away from?" Dhruv yelled as Jungkook held him back.

"Does Akash know?" Dhruv asked. "He found out somehow" she answered. "Excellent. You know what? I should actually be asking who knows about this relationship of yours?" Dhruv asked turning to look at Hoseok who responded in negative as well. "Excellent. This guy left his fucking everything and came here to see if you were safe and he put his blind faith on you and this is what you fucking do?" Dhruv yelled.

"I fell for him. What else could I do?!" she yelled back. "Don't make me hit you" Dhruv said through gritted teeth as Alesha flinched and the jaws of the rest dropped to the floor. "Why don't you guys get it? I love him. I have loved him for almost three years now? Why can't you guys just accept the fact?" she said as she bit her lower lip as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.

"Because that guy, isn't worth it. Because, that guy treats you like shit. And you deserve something much better. Something way better" Dhruv tried to explain. "But, he is what I want. Something better or something lesser, won't be him now would it?" she said.

"You almost took your life because he called you ugly in front of his friends! Wanting to keep his love for you a secret my foot. You're so smart all the time. Why can't you see this? " Dhruv said through a pained voice. "Because that's what love is. It hurts. Doesn't it?" she said as a tear trailed down her eyes.

She has loved him. For three years. I missed her by an inch. And that too to a guy who doesn't even treat her well. Maybe it was my fault for not beig quicker. My fault for not telling her that I have had a crush on her ever since I saw her. But, I guess it's too late. Like always.

That's when the silence that burdened her was broken by her ringing phone.
