GUYS WE'VE HIT 100k OMGGGGGG I want to cry 😭 Like I said before, this is my first fanfic and the second book I'm close to finishing, and I never expected this amount of support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!!

Btw don't be surprised if I make a lot of double updates because this story gets to be eligible for the Wattys if I finish it by August 19, 2022 😉

Enjoy!

*****

My parents have always openly shown me their love especially since I was their only child. From such a young age, they've made me feel all the love a child should receive for them to see it the same way their parents do when they grow up.

My fans have continuously shown their love and support ever since I got my first acting gig. Before I even began acting, people already knew who I was and this came with having a small fanbase that I continue to still be friends with until today. They have been there to watch my films and back me up whenever someone tries to bring me down.

My friends have grown to be like my brothers and sisters, showing me a love that wasn't defined by time and distance. We all live hectic lives and are found all around the world, but it's heartwarming to see people who'd be ready to go through heaven and hell for you, despite them only being a small number.

Charles, however, was a different story.

I've always imagined my relation to him as me being the one who was showing acts of love, at least from my point of view. I love him when he wins races but I also love him when he doesn't. I love him when he's as bright as the sun with happiness but I also love him when he's darkened by the shadows that follow him. I love him when he's Charles Leclerc, two-time world champion and unstoppable on the track, but I also love him when he's my Charles, the guy who gave me a scrapbook full of spots he's visited and the one who has the ability to make me feel things I've never felt before.

I stand in front of him, lips parted in shock from hearing his words.

I've already fallen for you with the ones I have. Let me make more by showing you how much I love you.

Charles just called me a core memory the same way I call him a spot.

Charles just said he's fallen for me.

Charles just told me he loves me.

I met his eyes and I was taken aback by the sheer amount of emotion in them and I couldn't control it anymore. I watched as his eyes brightened when my lips widened into a smile and he let out a nervous laugh. "I don't know how to interpret that smile."

"It's a good smile." I said, nodding my head as his thumb lightly caressed my cheek.

His eyes flitted all over my face, mind trying to make sense of my reply. It was when his eyebrows shot up that I knew he had a realization but is still looking for some kind of confirmation from me. "Bellerose, I know you think I'm clever but I need you to verbally tell me when it comes to this because I am so close to shitting my pants–"

"Shut up." I murmured before placing both of my hands on his cheeks and leaning up to connect his lips with mine.

I closed my eyes as Charles regained his composure, hands squeezing my hips before his arms wrapped around my waist, stepping forward and making my back press against the table I was leaning on. I kissed him with all I could– with all the love I had in me.

And that was a lot.

On instinct, my hands trailed up to his hair and a sigh left Charles' lips as I lightly pulled on the strands. I couldn't help but smile against his lips as he moved to kissing my cheek, then the space just below my ear, then my neck. Shivers were going up all over my spine and my arms as Charles lit a path of searing hot kisses and I couldn't help but moan quietly when I felt his teeth graze around the space just above my collarbone.
