Chapter 36__Let's get married

"Rosa, Let's get married",  he told her.
Rosa eyes widen.
Is she having ear problem now?What is this that she just heard.
" What?", She asked.
"I know I've not been really good to you. I know I'm not really worthy of you. After all, you are the princess of the Baxtar clan but still I hope you could give me a chance to take responsibility for you all my life", He paused and brought out a small box from his inner pocket.
" Marry me, Rosalind", he told her as he opened the box.
In the box was a diamond ring.The diamond on the ring is big.
Rosa couldn't explain her feelings at the moment.
She thought he wanted to break up with her.
She thought everything is ending today.Who knew it is just starting?
She was simply short of words.
She didn't know what to say.
"Say something Rosa",  Ethan urged her.He looked anxious.He looked as if her respond matters a lot to him.Has she been really thinking too much?
Could it be that Ethan really cared for her.
" Ethan, am I dreaming?", She couldn't help but ask.
"You aren't dreaming. Please give me a response", He told her.
" Need you ask? You know the only ambition I have since I was a kid is to marry you", She told him.
"Just say yes", He urged.
" Yes, Let's get married"
Ethan sigh a sigh of relief.
Rosalind stretched her fingers and Ethan insert the ring in her fingers.
"Let's live together happily",  he told her.
Rosa smiled.
" Okay", she said.

She rushed into Dawns condo. She was too excited to keep it to herself.
"Why are you so happy?",  Dawn asked.
" Guess?",Rosa said as she sat on the cushion.
"Your dad topped your card?",  Dawn asked.
" l wish", Rosa said.
"Your brother gave you a large sum of money?",  She asked.
" Do you think I'm a money grubber? Is it only money that can make me so happy?", She asked.
Dawn raise her brows.
"Then is it Ethan?",  She asked.
"Almost there"
Dawn rolled her eyes.
"If it is about that dude, I don't want to guess. Anything about him can make you happy", Dawn said.
" Well, check this out", Rosa said showing off the sparkling stone on her middle finger.
Dawn eyes widen.
"What the.. what the...Don't tell me!",  Dawn was not expecting this at all.
Rosa smiled smugly.
" Yes.He proposed.Who said My Ethan didn't care for me? There are just different ways to express one's love", She said sweetly from her heart.
"I'm really happy for you", Dawn said Even if she didn't like the guy, he was the man Rosa loved all her life. She was really happy that Ethan is reciprocating Rosa's love.
The girls hugged each other.
"The chief bride's maid position is for me, right?",  Dawn asked.
" Yes", Rosa said smiling cheekily.
Dawn could understand her though. Rosalind has everything she could ever wanted and didn't need to bother about buying new dress, working hand to be successful and then settle down with a husband like every other girl. Right from the start, her only dream is to get married to the man of her dream and that man is Ethan.Everyone around her knows that.

Everyone ate dinner that night quietly at the Baxtars.Even Mia is around.
"Mia, are you going to work this weekend?", Reina asked her.
" Yes, aunt", She replied.
She glanced at Zenith then at Reina again.
"Aunt, I might have to disturb you to take care of Chris for me, I am going oversees for shooting. There are some scenes that can not be shooted in B-city here",  She said.
" How long?", Zenith asked her.
"three weeks perhaps?"
Zenith blinked rapidly.
"Do script writers need to follow them around to shoot?",  He asked.
" It's quite demanding. I mean the script.I'm also an assistant director for that movie.I was planning to take Chris along with me but I don't need to now that he has you", She explained.
Zenith sigh.
How would he cope if he didn't see her for three weeks?
Reina saw the interaction between them and smiled.She knew what is bothering Zenith.
"Don't worry Mia.Chris will be well taken care off. I'm sure mom will be willing to help look after him too, is that not so mum?",  Reina asked her mother in law.
" What will I be doing that I won't even be able to look after my grandson?", Comfort asked.
Rosalind on the other hand is begging to be paid attention to.She has been trying to show off her ring but it seems no one is noticing her.
"Sis, what do you think of this ring?",  Rosa called Mia and asked.
Everyone turned to look at her the moment she spoke.

ment ring?", Mia could not help but asked.
Rosa was wearing a smug look.
Frank drop his cutleries.
"Isn't your engagement still on saturday?",  he asked.
" Well, My Ethan gave me a formal proposal", she replied.
Reina stood up immediately.
"Let me see.The diamond is so big! Ethan must love you too much",  She said.
" I'm so happy for you child", Zach said
"Thanks gramps",  Rosa replied.
" I'm having more great grandchildren soon. I want a great grand daughter.", Comfort told her.
"Congrats, Rosa",  Mia said with a smile and turned to Chris.
" Congratulate your aunt, Chris.She's getting married"
" Congratulations aunt", Chris said he chew his food.
Rosa smiled.
"Thanks, nephew"
Zenith can tell how happy Rosa is.He wants to believe Ethan will make more time for her and make her happy.
"Brother, you haven't congratulated me",  She told him.
" Did you think I didn't know you will be proposed to? Ethan is my buddy, don't forget" And he continue eating his food.
Rosa pouted.
Like father like son.
