So, it's been a while since I finished this and yes I am kind of working on the sequel... that meaning I've been reading in on the Lamia and reading into it more than I did with this book since I was following what happens in season4 of teen wolf.
So by putting Brittany through emotional turmoil I was accidentally totally on brand for the original mythos for Lamia (like the og Greek stuff). Maybe not fully on brand because she's not going around eating babies but she didn't have the best luck with getting her children to term and keeping them alive after that.
If you guys want the full mythos I can either link you guys to some things or I could include it in the sequel. I'm really trying with sequel but writers block is a bitch honestly. I've got 4.5 short chapters that have taken me since the epilogue of this was published. This is one of my most active stories in terms of reader engagement so I'm willing to work with you all if I'm actually getting views and stuff because that motivates me to write more.
