Every girl experiences a life where they want to distance themselves from others. It's a way of life for us.
The stares of lustful boys at school are hard to deal with every single day. The jealousy from other girls makes you want to quiver with anger that they're just being selfish. The glances of perverted adults that haven't learnt sex education when they were younger makes you not even want to leave your house.
It was for that reason that, after a certain amount of time in junior high, I distanced myself from other people. I did not make any new friends, I barely tried to talk to old ones.
It may sound stupid and guilty, but can you blame someone who may have been through a lot to think this way?
I managed to drag this all the way to high school, and when I heard about Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School and its benefits, I thought I could continue to keep my distance from people and keep to myself.
However...
It didn't take too long before I began to make friends again, and be part of a group that made me feel loved the way I wanted to be.
Kiyopon. Miyacchi. Yukimuu. And... Airi...

I was able to get back the feeling of being youthful. At least, that's what I had believed. Out of nowhere, that feeling was once again stolen from me within a single day.
Who was the cause of this destruction?
It was none other than the girl I thought I could trust to lead our class to victory.
Yes... Horikita Suzune.
I became a victim of her selfish actions. I can't forgive her. There's no way I can.
And so... the day I watched Airi leave the school grounds, I decided I wanted to get revenge on her..
Revenge is such a strong word. If you're willing to use that word, you must also be willing to actually carry it out.
So when Kiyopon came to me and said he'd support me in getting revenge, I wasn't just baffled but I was also amazed.
The weekend I distanced myself from people again was the day I began to learn more about Kiyopon.
He wanted to bring Airi back, but he also wanted to protect himself.
If he's really going to bring her back, the most I can do is support him in his plans like he asked me to. That's the most I can do after all.
