It was Sunday and there were only a few hours until I had to meet Vic. Part of me was anxious and excited to get to know the real Victor Fuentes. The other part of me questioned if I was doing the right thing. I mean, I don't really know anything about this man except his name and that he's gay. He better not turn out to be like a murderer or something.

I had told Justin everything that was happening and even though I knew he was thinking inappropriate thoughts, I assured him it was just dinner. I'm not the type of guy to sleep around anymore. That was the old Kellin. Yeah, I was a man whore. Ever since I began working here, those habits sort of died. This job is just so time consuming that I don't even have time for that anymore.

As I wandered around my closet to look for something to wear, I questioned the place we were going to go eat. He said it was pretty fancy so I knew a plain t-shirt and blue jeans would not cover it. I had never been to this so called restaurant so I didn't know what to expect.

After ten minutes of searching for clothing, I took out some dark black pants and a white button up shirt. I'm so glad I'm not a girl because it would've taken me hours to get ready. All I had to do was fix my hair and then I was done.

I walked around my small apartment as I waited time to pass by. After what happened last night, I felt some guilt build inside of me for accusing Vic of wanting me for a quick fuck. I know you should never assume but at the time, I guess it just kind of made sense to me. I also can't believe he actually waited for more than hour for me. That's pretty astonishing.

Once I thought it was a good time to leave, I left my apartment and got into my car. I had no idea where this restaurant was so I made sure to put it into the GPS in my phone. Within twenty five minutes of driving beside the coast, I arrived at the mysterious restaurant.

Just from looking at the outside of the restaurant, you could tell this would be a luxurious dinner. To top it off, the damn place was right by the ocean. I parked my car and started to walk towards the entrance. Just as I stepped through the door way, Vic appeared.

"Sorry, did I keep you waiting?" I asked.

"No, I just got here too." He said, flashing me a wide smile. Damn, his smile could cure cancer and end world hunger. "I'm glad you could make it."

In response, I just warmly smiled at him as a lady led us to our table. The place was fairly massive so the tables weren't very cluttered close together. It was as if everyone had their own secluded area. Beautiful decor surrounded the creamed colored walls and a fine cuisine aroma filled the space.

We were seated and then given our menus. A champagne bottle was brought by the waiter and he poured some into our glasses.

"Don't you think this is a little too over the top?" I asked when the waiter left.

"No, I like to treat my dates well."

Dates?

"So we're on a date?" I asked, making him look up to me again.

"Why not?" He said, although it didn't sound much like a question. I guess we're on a date.

We didn't speak much as we looked at our menus. The Italian dishes sounded appetizing but I was skeptical with most of them. I don't really eat much Italian cuisine. And some of the prices were ridiculous. Well, I'm not paying so might as well make the best of it. Never mind, that makes me sound like a gold digger.

After what seemed forever, I settled first with my appetizer. I didn't really need one but Vic insisted I order one so I did. It was just some sweetbread. Then for my main dish I ordered some kind of weird spaghetti. The name itself had so many big words that left me wondering what exactly was in it.
