Sorry for any mistakes. Not edited :/

I listened carefully and after the third ring, I almost hung up. Just as I was about to do that though, someone answered.

"Hello?" The voice said and it sounded nothing like Oli.

"Um, hey, is Oli there?" I said and bit my lip in embarrassment. God, I was probably making a fool of myself.

"Yeah, who's this?" The mysterious person said.

"Kellin Quinn."

I heard some shuffling and talking but I couldn't quite understand what they were saying. Patiently I held my phone to my ear and waited for some kind of response. I grew more nervous as the seconds passed, and after what seemed hours, someone spoke.

"Kellin?" The familiar British voice questioned.

"Yeah, it's me Kellin." I said rather sheepishly.

"Oh hey! What's up mate?" He asked

"Well uh," I tried to find the right words, "I kinda have a problem."

"Um, okay? Is there anything I can do for you?" He asked.

I opened my mouth to tell him my situation but couldn't get anything out.

"You know what, it's fine. I shouldn't of called so I'll just hang up-"

"No, no it's cool, Kellin. What's goin' on?"

Fuck it. Guess I'm gonna be a selfish bastard.

"Okay, so I'm in Los Angeles. I'm actually moving here and just as I got here my car broke down. I can't get it fixed until morning and I have this meeting tomorrow morning too so I'm freaking out and-"

"Whoa, slow down. Where are you?"

I looked around the place for the millionth time.

"I have no idea actually."

"Okay, so you need a ride?"

"Yeah, if it's not too much trouble. You don't have to help me if you dont want to. It's okay, I can find another way-"

"No, like I said, it's cool. Text me a street or something and I'll come and pick you up."

After those words, I let out the breath I had been holding out in relief. He was actually coming to help me. Thank fucking God.

I found a street and texted him. I really hope he doesn't live too far but I have a feeling he does. Oh well, he's the one that agreed on helping me.

Time ticked by and so did the night. Thirty minutes had passed and there was no sign on Oli. Damn, how far was it really? Now I feel terrible.

Soon another fifteen minutes passed and I saw a car coming towards me. It parked in front of me and when the driver stuck their head out the window, I saw that it was Oli. He signaled for me to come over there. With that, I grabbed a few things I needed that included clothes and whatnot.

I walked out of my car and locked it before walking over to Oli's car. I opened the passenger door and sat down.

"Thank you so fucking much for doing this. You have no idea-"

"It's okay, Kells." He said with a small chuckle. "It's what friends do."

Oli started the car and then off we went. I could tell this was going to be a long drive so I hope it isn't awkward or anything.

"So you said you were moving over here?" Oli started the conversation.

"Yeah I got this job for a theatrical performance. I'm a dancer so I got a position on the show. I actually have a meeting at eight o'clock with the director tomorrow."
