"When will I find where I fit in ?"

A Day To Remember

We were sitting at the second row, waiting for Colby's match. So far, there were a lot of great superstars, but I just couldn't wait to see him wrestle. Next match that was announced was said to be for the first ever NXT championship, and was the main event. Wait a minute, the main event ? Means Colby is main eventing a show and also has a shot at becoming the first ever NXT champion? A music started and Jinder Mahal entered the ring. Once Seth's music rang, I was almost jumping in joy. I saw him scanning through the crowd as he climbed on the third rope. When he spotted me he winked at me and entered the ring. The match was very intense to say the least. It was easy to see that both men really wanted that title badly. I don't even know if the end for that match was scripted or not. I was legitimately scared for both of them a few times, as they did more and more spectacular and dangerous moves. And finally, there was it, the pin. It hadn't been the first one, but it was the winning one. When Seth's music echoed through the room, the whole crowd was standing and clapping, one of the biggest ovations I've ever known. I was almost crying with pride. I just couldn't wait to see him and congratulate him. We were supposed to wait for him outside of the venue, since he said he would come and get us. I was almost jumping around, and even if it wasn't my win, I felt so happy for him. He's going to be given so much more opportunities now. I scanned the crowd that was slowly dismissing, for my favorite half bleached blonde superstar. Once I spotted him I tugged on Scott's hand to make him follow me and made my way to Colby.

" Wow you're fast!" He laughed as I arrived. "I though I'd never find you!"

He stopped to take some pictures with fans that had stayed here, and sign things, before entering the venue again with us. I instantly hugged him like never and congratulated him, telling him he was amazing but I hated him for scaring me sometimes.

" You know, you also scare me when you wrestle." He chuckled. "It's part of the job."

He went to get his things, and then I drove us back to the apartment. We had eaten before the show, so we went straight to bed. I undressed and got under the covers while Colby was taking a shower. He turned off the lights once he entered the bedroom and I felt him slip under the covers, his arms instantly wrapping around me.

" Thank you love." He whispered in my ear. "It means so much that you were here tonight."

"I wouldn't have missed an opportunity to see you wrestle in the world." I smiled. "I love you you know ? And you were amazing in that ring, I'm so proud of you."

"I love you too." He mumbled before falling asleep.

I woke up at around 9 in the morning, and Colby awoke a few minutes later. We cuddled for like 30 minutes before deciding to get up.

"Hey Rox' ?" He called as I was picking up clothes. "I'm inviting you at a restaurant this lunch."

" Well okay but why ?" I asked, confused.

" No particular reason, I love you, and I don't know when I'll be able to do it." He just smiled.

" I'm paying my share this time." I argued.

" Well, if I say I'm "inviting you" it means that obviously no, you aren't paying." He said cheekily. "And you know you can't refuse anything to the first ever NXT champion."

He winked and I rolled my eyes. We went to shower and to eat breakfast.

When I had to take Colby back to the airport, I felt completely heartbroken. I knew I wouldn't see him for at least 3 months, maybe more, and after the few moments we had together, it would feel like an eternity. Anyways, I don't have a choice, and I've been without him for way longer, I can do that. I'll just go and drug myself with training. Once I came back to the apartment, I just sat down on the couch and stared at an imaginary point.

" You girl, need to get out of here." Scotts voice suddenly said, startling me. "Come on, let's go outside and then grab a pizza or something."

I just nodded and grabbed a jacket, quickly following him outside. We went to a small park near the flat, to just kind of sit down, and enjoy the fresh air of this Saturday in September. We talked about random things, how he coped with the long distance relationships, how we felt about signing in a big company, and how we still missed ROH a little. It still all felt unreal, being here, and most of all, getting here in that short amount of time. I've only been wrestling for a little less than 2 years. Of course I've trained before, but not that mush compared to other superstars, even compared to Scott. I don't think I will eve be able to repay him and Phil enough for everything. Without them I'd still be in Australia. And yeah, I love my country, my family and my friends more than anything. But my place is here now, my new life is in the USA.
