"Oh my god that was terrifying!" Eddie said catching his breath. "The carousel is not scary." Nancy laughed. "Hey guys, it's kinda late. I don't wanna stay up past curfew or my parents will take away my allowance, and it's already like 3 euro, I can't lose that." Robin said. "Oh I'll walk home with you!" Nancy said. They both left hand in hand, "wanna grab a churro and head home- hey what was... oh." Eddie said since someone had bumped into him, he read the note given to him and patted Steve on his back. "Hey Steve- would you give me a moment." He said. Before Steve could answer Eddie had disappeared into the crowd, Eddie finally got into the dark alley he was told to meet in. "You got the shit munson?" The boy asked. "Mhm, how much you want?" "How much for 30?" "Shit, just take the whole bag lenny." Eddie said tossing the bag of edibles to him.

The boy gave Eddie all the money in his wallet and disappeared back into the shadows of the darkened alley. Eddie counted and saw that he luckily had retrieved 35 dollars instead of 30.

"Hey! You okay? What happend?" Steve asked. "Yeah! I'm rich!" Eddie said happily.

"Wayne! Ya home?" Eddie called out. After checking all the rooms in his house, which was around 2, he kicked the side of his sofa angryly. "Dammit! After all of that." He said. "Don't worry, I've had to pack leftovers alot of times. Wrap it in tin foil, chuck it in the fridge and you're good for atleast 2 or so days. If you want to preserve it even more put it in the freezer." Steve said. "Would that work with a churro?" Eddie asked. "I mean... hopefully! And if not I'll pay for your uncle's hospital bills when he gets food poisoning." Steve joked. Eddie rolled his eyes and got to his room,

he let out a sigh on relief. He was scared, so scared. Why was he seeing these things? These things that weren't there, was he going crazy? I mean, he is crazy. He's insane, that's how he was seen to everyone in Hawkins. Except Steve! He had to prove to Steve that he wasn't insane! But he was? he was going insane what was Steve going to think and oh god what if he breaks up with him what will happen to eddie and-

"Hey sweetheart? You okay?" Steve asked. Eddie forgot all that he was thinking to focus on Steve,

"oh! Yeah I'm just thinking, and cold."

Eddie said. "Cold? It's July!" Steve said. Eddie scoffed and dug himself into his bedsheets, "Yeah well what you gonna do?" He said. "Cuddle with you until you fall asleep and then cover my ear with a pillow so I won't hear you snoring." Steve replied. Eddie smiled and Steve hugged him from behind, "Hey Steve, can I ask you a question?" "While we're in the middle of spooning? Sure go ahead." Steve said. "Do you think it'll always he like this?" He asked. "Well... what do you mean exactly?" "Do you think we'll always have to hide from people?" Eddie asked. Steve sighed and shook his head

"I- I dont know Eddie. I hope not, I'd love to do things that 'normal couples' do. Like actually kiss in broad daylight instead of having to do it in a dark alley. And be open to people around us but... y'know one day I'm sure things will be different one day."

He said. "What if I go crazy by the time they are different?" Eddie asked jokingly. "Ill go crazy with you" Steve said "yeah?"

"Yeah. Crazy together." Steve said.
