Chapter 46: Tiny Surprises

"Have you seen Kalev's face? He's panicking and worried! Mabuti na lang at nakita kaagad natin si Marsh sa condo mo Tori. I don't want to imagine the worse thing that could happen to her." Nikos said while sipping the iced Americano he ordered earlier. Nikos and I were inside the hospital's coffee shop while waiting for Alexander to come out from Marsh's room. Si Kalev naman ay hindi pa rin umaalis sa waiting area ngayon.

Isa rin ako sa nag panic nang makita si Marsh na walang malay. When we saw Marsh's unconscious body inside my condominium, panic rushed over my system. I couldn't even remember how I even managed to call my cousin Kalev telling him about Marsh's condition.

Dinala agad namin ito ni Nikos sa hospital at tinawagan si Kalev. Mabilis naman nakarating ang pinsan kong si Kalev. Isa-isa na rin nagsiratingan ang kanilang mga kaibigan. They're all worried about Marsh. Who wouldn't be? I guess Marsh is already part of the family.

Kumaway si Raven nang makita niya kami sa loob ng coffee shop. Nikos waved his hands back. Followed by Severus, they both went inside. Sinabayan ko nang tingin si Raven at si Severus na papasok sa loob. I tried to look around looking for him. He must have to be here! His friends are here. The idea of meeting him here in the hospital made me all giddy and excited.

"Are you looking for Trevor?" Nikos asked while giving me a taunting smile. I squirmed from my seat when I heard his name. Biglang binundol na rin ng kaba ang dibdib ko. I tried to look stern. They don't have any idea that I finally dating him! And secretly dating him was my idea. With all the trouble that I made, I think it's better to keep our relationship secret for now.

Nikos blew off a long sigh and shake his head.

"You really got it bad, witch. Akala ko ba titigil ka na?" Mapangasar na sabi nito sa akin. I pouted my lips.

"I'm over him! I already realized that I'm too good for Trevor, duh!" Hindi ko napansin na napalakas na pala ang pagsabi ko. I want Nikos to stop teasing me about Trevor. Nikos can really be annoying if he wants to! Napatingin tuloy sa akin si Raven, Severus, at si Nikos. Tinaasan ko naman sila ng kilay dahil bigla silang napatahimik.

"Really? Hmm... interesting." Someone said from behind. Para akong sinakluban nang langit at lupa nang marinig ko ang boses na 'yon. I don't need to turn my head and see his face. I can even recognize his breathing! That low, deep, and even voice came from Trevor! Oh God, he's here. He's finally here!

Ramdam na ramdam ako ang pagkapula ng aking pisngi dahil sa aking sinabi. I hope he doesn't mind what I've said.

"That's fucking hilarious!" Nikos started laughing frantically while I can still feel my cheeks burning from embarrassment. Dahil sa inis ko ay siniko ko sa Nikos at kinurot ang tagiliran niya.

Pasimple akong tumingin kay Trevor nang umupo ito sa harapan ko. Katabi naman nito si Severus. He's so handsome wearing a navy blue turtleneck sweater and slacks. His hair is a bit messy, maybe because he combed it using his hands. I tried giving him a final look but when I did, our eyes locked with each other. His dead lifeless-looking eyes are staring at me. Nakatingin din pala ang binata sa akin. He's looking at me as if we are alone at the table. My heart rejoiced because he was finally here! However, I need to refrain myself. Kasama namin ang mga kaibigan niya.

"If someone has it bad, then it must be Kalev." Napukaw ang atensiyon ko nang magsalita si Raven.

"He really loves Marsh." Napailing naman na sinabi ni Nikos sa tabi ko. I get that Kalev is really intimidating but I didn't even expect him to fall in love.
