Yangyang paced around the house, panicking as his hands trembled around his phone. His fingers hovering over Kun's call log, the ringing echoing around his headspace.
But like the past few times, the ringing stopped and no one picked up from the other side, "Pick up, danmmit". There were police all over the place, searching the rooms, handcuffing Mr. lee right infront of him.
He didnt know how just a single visit to his uncle ended up with him confronting the police, standing in their way when they try to invade the rooms. But he was ignored by all as they made their way inside.
Seeing no way out of this, he called the only number he had left beside Kun, "please pick up...please-" he breathe out a relief when the other side picked up, with a rather calm voice speaking to him, "Yangyang?"
"Ten-ge! thank goodness you answered- there's police in- y/n's house. I dont know what to do, they're all over the place, arresting uncle Lee!" he rambled on as the other side struggled to speak, "Yangyang! Listen to me, I want you to stay put, I'll be right there okay?" suddenly Yangyang wasnt replying to him, his attention back to the two police who's dragging Mr. lee to the exit.

.Kun just collected his phone from the front seat of his car then there were bombs of text messages and calls erupting at once. "Whats all this about...?" he read out the first message sent from Yangyang almost twenty minutes ago, his eyes widened. he scrolled to the last text, sent from Ten few minutes ago and dashed inside his house.
"y/n!" he shouted all through the hall before finally finding her in one of the guest room, completely oblivious of whats going on. "What happened?" she asked worriedly as Kun paused to catch his breathe, "There's police in your house-"
The news made no surprise to her, instead she seemed at ease, "Oh, yeah they come there often searching for my dad-"
"Yangyang is there!" just that and y/n wasnt hearing anymore. Her breathe hitched, eyes widening in absolute fear, 'No...'
"We need to get him out of there, lets go!" Kun wanted to ran back to his car but y/n wasnt moving. Standing still, she clutched on to her sweater, her knuckles turning white. "Hey" Kun grabbed her shoulder, causing her to get out of the trance. "Do you think...he found out?"
They both knew the truth. But what was it to them to speak it out and make things more hard than it already was, "I dont know...but lets not let it affect us okay? We need to save your dad."

.When they finally reached y/n's house, there was only one car left outside, her friends crowding the entrance. Ten noticed them approaching and sprinted ahead, "y/n, you okay?" he cupped her face, sending warmth through her pale face. She simply nodded and turned her gaze to the car outside, "What happened...?"
Ten stepped back to face both Kun and her, "I gladly reached on time and talked it out with one of them. Your dad...is charged with a lot of stealth cases. They'll hold him captive for now. I introduced a close lawyer of mine. I hope things work out. Except for that, we're allowed to see him."
Suddenly y/n wasnt listening, all her attention was turned toward the one figure infront of his house, crouched down with his head buried hetween his knees, supposedly trembling.
"Yangyang..." Kun heard her whispering and turned to look too. His arms reached out to grab her but it was too late, y/n already ran off.
"Yangyang!" the said boy quickly looked up from the familliar voice calling out for him. He stood up as she crushed him in a tight hug, "Im so glad you're okay..." but he didnt hug her back, his arms left limp beside him.
y/n parted to take a better look and then did she notice, Yangyang wasnt there. His eyes were empty as he stared at her and nowhere. His warm smile long gone as he continued to stare, "you lied to me..." she heard him whisper "what?"
"You liar!" before y/n could even register what happened, she was harshly pushed, staggering few steps back. All sounds around them disappeared except for the angry breathing of Yangyang infront of her. Not an ounch of guilt apparent on his face as he glared through her soul.
Suddenly there were hands helping her to stand still then a loud shout erupting behind, "Thats no way to talk to someone, apologise now!" Kun shouted at the younger one, but Yangyang didnt budge.
No... they're fighting
Instead he shouted back more fiercely, "You knew didnt you?!?!" he looked around and made eye contact with every one of their friend present there, "You all knew! Yet you didnt tell me anything."
y/n carefully approached him, as if one wrong move and he'll come crumbling down, "Yangyang, I can explain-"
"Was it fun? Keeping me in the dark and watching me act like a fool, when you clearly knew how much they mean to me...they're like my family..." his voice started to break, his eyes welling up with tears.
"Im sorry." Yangyang looked away, wiping his eyes with the back of his hoodie, taking few steps back until he began sprinting away from them. Before y/n could follow behind, Kun grabbed her to halt, shaking his head for her to stop. "But...what if he gets lost?"
"He's not a child anymore, leave him alone. We need to get to your dad first."
