    Year 5 soon began, and a new professor from the Ministry was introduced as "Umbridge."
    The Daily Prophet claiming that Harry Potter was lying and Lord Voldemort wasn't actually back.
    You knew better.
    He was your father for Merlin's sake.
    No one liked her. But no one could do anything about it.

    You were walking along the halls with Hermione, heading to transfigurations.
    "So how was summer break?"
    "Could've been better." Hermione replied.
    "That sucks." 
    "Tell me about it. What about yours?"
    "Well.." You started, hesitant whether or not to tell Hermione you were dating Draco.
    Before you could say anything, the door opened.
    "We better get going." And with that, the two of you walked off to your seats.

    After class, you and Hermione parted ways.
    You were walking along the halls, heading to potions.
    On your way there, you bumped into Harry.
    "Harry!"
    "(Y/n)! How was summer?"
    "Good. Yours?"
    "Uh.. yeah, great!" He replied awkwardly.
    "Alright then.. I'll catch you later maybe?"
    "S-Sure." And he bluntly walked off.
    You blinked a few times, finally noticing a platinum haired boy glaring at Harry in the corner.
    You giggled and walked over.
    "Jealous?" You teased.
    "As if." Draco scoffed.
    "Sure sure."
    "Hey! It's not like I'm your boyfriend or anything." He said mockingly.
    "Just admit that you are." You giggled, making him send a glare at you.
    "Do you.."
    "Hm?" He hummed, leaning on the wall.
    "Do you remember what today is?"
    "Uhhhh- Friday?"
    You stared at him silently.
    He forgot.
    "I thought it was Thursday.. heh.." You joked.
    "An idiot as always." He laughed.
    You forced a giggle back.
    "Malfoy!" Suddenly, Crabbe and Goyle walked up.
    "What are you looking at?" You asked.
    "You. Now get lost." 
    You stared at Draco, hoping for him to do something.
    "Y-Yeah.. get lost.." He muttered under his breath.

    You weren't able to pay attention to the rest of your classes.
    After what Draco said, your heart sunk.
    And the fact he forgot.
    Well, to be fair, everyone forgot.
    It was your birthday, and last year, everyone in the Gryffindor common room was celebrating with you.
