Y/n's POV:

I rolled my eyes at the situation I was now stuck in. "This was the dumbest decision you have made here." I tell my father. I look around and see that everyone has pulled out their guns or knives and are ready to attack. "I don't think you realize the position you are in Y/n." My father tells me. I scoff. "No I don't think that you realize the position that you are in." I said back. I look over at Seungmin and he nods his head. Within a second after that I crouched down and heard a gunshot not even a moment later. When I crouched down, I felt the knife cut my throat a little bit but that was the least of my concerns at this moment. I got up and saw that my father was holding onto his arm. When I looked over, I saw that Chan was lowering his gun. I smiled over at him. Felix runs over to me. "Are you okay?" He asks me. "I'm fine. This-" I say pointing at my throat. "Is nothing." I said. I watch Chan and Seungmin come over to Felix and I. "I think it would be a good idea if you left. I will not hesitate to shoot again, and I'm sure that goes for everyone in this room. You mess with one of us and you mess with all of us." Chan tells my parents. "This will not be the last time you see us. We will be back." My mother says. She helps my father up and they leave. I feel exhausted and my legs give out under me. "Woah easy there!" Chan says as he catches me from falling. He takes me over to the one couch and everyone else comes and gathers around. "What the fuck just happened?" Beomhan asks. "A mess is what fucking happened." I mutter out. I hiss when I feel a cloth on my throat. I see Hyunjin smiling sympathetically at my reaction. "Sorry, I want to make sure we can clean it up and get a bandage on it." He tells me. "It's fine, just hurts like a bitch." I tell him. "I think I speak for everyone here when I say we are not leaving tonight. I don't feel secure leaving you all tonight after what happened. I know that you all can defend yourselves but if they come back, there's a chance they could bring back up and I am not taking that risk." Soobin tells us. "I agree with Soobin. I'd rather stay here knowing that you have backup then leaving and something happening." Jungwon said. "We still have those rooms open. Pair up into threes and find a room." Seungmin tells them. They all pair up and head to the rooms after saying good night and wishing me happy birthday once more. I smiled at them. 

Hyunjin's POV:

I grabbed some of the bandages that we have laying around in case something like this happens. The other groups had already gone to the rooms, and it was just the nine of us left. "Well, that was an interesting birthday." Y/n says. I hear Felix scoff at that. "This was definitely not how we planned this to go." He tells her. She hums. "Hey Y/n, I need to get the bandage on you." I tell her. She nods her head and lifts up her neck so I can put it on easier. "And there you go." I say. We continue talking for another hour before we all decide to go to bed. I watch Seungmin grab Y/n's hand and they head upstairs. I.N, Chan and Changbin all head upstairs together with smiles on their faces. Han and Minho go up next. That leaves Felix and I downstairs alone. Felix comes over to me and gives me a hug. I smile and hug him back. "You okay?" I ask him. "As okay as I can be after that. I mean the second Y/n was being held by knifepoint by our father I got flashbacks of the last time." He says sadly. "She'll be okay. Y/n is strong, and she proved that when she made it through getting shot." I tell him. We hugged for a few more minutes before I broke it. "I'm going to head to bed, good night." I tell Felix. I turn around and start to walk away but Felix grabs me. "Where are you going?" He asks me. "To bed?" I reply. He smiles. "Nope, you are coming with me!" Felix says with a big smile. He starts to drag me up the stairs. "Felix! I have my own room, and I don't want to intrude on you and Naomi!" I say seriously. He shakes his head. "If you think you are intruding then you are mistaken. Plus, I am not leaving you alone when everyone else has someone else with them. Now let's go." He tells me. I hold my hands up in surrender. 

Seungmin's POV:

I take Y/n over to my room. I knew that Felix was going to have Naomi and possibly Hyunjin in his room tonight because of everything. I watch as Y/n flops onto my bed. It was definitely a long day for everyone, especially her. "People need to learn to stop messing with us." Y/n says darkly. I head over to the bed and lay next to her. "You are not wrong. What do you suggest we do for that?" I ask her. I watch as she looks over at me and smirks. "You'll see. I just will be taking Hyunjin, Chan and Han with me." She says while smiling. "Should I be concerned with what you are planning my queen?" I ask her. "Everyone should be my king." Y/n replies. I smile at her. "Well, you know what to do if you get into trouble." She nods her head. "Let's go to sleep now, I'm tired." Y/n says. I give her a peck and we head to sleep.

A/N: Woah 30 chapters?? I hope you all are enjoying this because here's to the next 30 (hopefully-)

Let's be honest, I kind of fell out of love with writing Ethereal Serendipity at the moment but I will eventually be going back to writing it. I do on the other hand want to start working on another story. So if you want to send me which SKZ member you want the next story to be focused around then I will look into writing for them!
