"What is this?" Shen confusedly asked.

The moment he returned back to the space, everything seemed to have changed. The surrounding, and more importantly, his mission panel.

[Host, this is what I want to tell you in the last world, but I couldnt due to some restrictions.

Host, system has long since become your lifetime bonded spirit. I know its weird, but I just got back my memories in the last world while I was visiting the higher-ups. And the restrictions forbade me into sharing these informations with you.]

Shen thoughtfully frowned. "Explain all these to me."

[Yes, Host!

Host originally came from the Demon Realm. I am your bonded spirit and I have been with you since you were born. That time, the Demon Realm and the Heaven Realm are enemies. Host is an ordinary demon without any prominent background, however, Host has unique power, and that is a healing power. Anyways, prominent backgrounds or whatever doesnt matter in the demon realm. Power proves it all, and Host has just that.

Healing power is unique and very useful. However, for the demons, it is only a sign that the bearer is weak. But Host proved them wrong. You worked hard and Host is also very powerful and smart which made you rise up to become the first ever demon general who have healing power.]

"If what you say is true, then why am I in this state?"

[...Host, trouble starts for you when you meet the boss.]

Hearing an affirmative hum, Shen felt happy knowing that he and his husband met even before he transmigrated. However,

Hearing all those, Shen felt something tugging in his heart. He felt his head ache a bit but still put it at the back of his mind not thinking too much about it. He continued to ask, "Then what happened to both us? Why are we transmigrating?"

[Host was killed. Everything collapsed.]

The only words the system had uttered. Direct yet confusing. Shen tried to ask about it yet the only answer he got was

[Host, the rest are for you to wait to remember. I cannot anymore interfere.] I can only guide you up to here.

"I have been having repeated dreams during the last world." Shen's words shocked the system a bit.

[It probably means it would not take long for you to remember, Host!]

"Will he eventually remember me?" His words silenced the system making him worriedly frowned.

[Host, all I can say is that he's slowly fixing his soul.]

"What?! He's hurt?!!"

[I have not much knowledge of this, Host. It's better for you to find out yourself.]

Then, the system quickly changed their topic.

[As for your mission panel, Host, you will not be anymore given points in every tasks you completed. Treat it as simply enjoying your time with your husband in every world and also for you both to recuperate and slowly get your memories back. You can still access to the system store as you are very rich!]

Shen did not anymore asked and just decided to trust to his system's words. Everything will be revealed on its own. He just have to wait. But, how long? No one could answer.

"Do I still have to follow the tasks?"

[No, Host. It all depends on you as you are no longer--- rather, you were never bound to any of these rules in the first place.]

"Mn. Then, let's go quickly to the next world."

[As you say, Host.]
