The Envelope

Aerilyn sat in her chair absolutely terrified, she hadn't been this terrified since her spelling test. They were in professor Wizgiz's class with him and informed them that they had a pop quiz. They wouldn't be a problem for her if she had revised them. Everyone was complaining to him that they had too much work as it is for them to be getting extra work. 

"Your class isn't the only one we have to study for you know?" Musa said bitterly. 

"Anyways, I hope you revise for the quiz tomorrow." And he hopped out of the classroom. Aerilyn sighed. 

"Well the last thing we need is a pop quiz," Flora said annoyed.

"Tell me about it, I barely have time to sleep as it is." Aerilyn heard someone snoring and turned to look. She saw Bloom's head on the desk absolutely knocked out. Aerilyn walked behind her and shook her vigorously. "WAKE UP BLOOM BROOM!" She shouted. Bloom snapped her head up abruptly and looked around. Laughs were heard across the room as Bloom continued looking around confused. "Why is everyone laughing?" Someone handed her a mirror to show the ink covered across her cheek. Bloom wiped it off and began laughing along.

"Can someone tell me what's so hilarious?" Everyone immediately stopped laughing. Griselda looked at them sternly."Oh someone has been using their desk as a bed, Bloom to the principal office."

Flora, Stella, Musa, Tecna, and Aerilyn stood at the table in their common room with Merda on it. Flora raised her hand and chanted an incantation in an attempt to free Merda from her pumpkin form. A brown smoke emerged but nothing seemed to happen. "Well, that smoke doesn't seem so wholesome," Stella said. Tecna shook her head.

"I don't think it's working." Aerilyn accidentally inhaled the smoke and started happening a sneezing fit. "Oh, I don't think it's-" She sneezed again. She raised her hand to her face and created an air sphere and exhaled in relief. "Better." 

"What kind of fairy are you Flora, you can't even bring her back from her pumpkin state?" Flora scoffed at her. "I bet you wouldn't even know the difference between a pumpkin and a carrot!"

"Try me."

Kiko leaped onto the table and was about to take a bit of Merda before Tecna sternly told him to back off. "It's fine Tecna, Merda can take care of herself." Merda wrapped her stems around Kiko's ears and lifted him in the air. Just then Bloom walked in smiling.

"I have some good news guys." She lifted an envelope in the air. "The answers to tomorrow's pop quiz!" Aerilyn dropped the air sphere and ran over to her.

"Really, oh thank god I was thinking about jumping off the building."

They sat around the envelope deciding whether to open it or not.

"I did so badly on palladium's exam that I can't afford to flunk this one." Stella said. 

"Yeah, but if you open it, it's cheating." Tecna stated.

"And you wouldn't feel good if you get a good mark from cheating." Flora said. Aerilyn sighed.

"I mean I could revise but I doubt I'll be sane during the quiz." 

"Well, we all have to decide what to do." Flora said. Aerilyn turned to Bloom who was again sound asleep. "That girl needs to get to bed." Aerilyn felt a presence approaching the room and informed them. They hid the envelope and there was a knock on the door. They opened it and  Griselda walked into the room. "Miss Faragonda wants the presence of Bloom." Aerilyn shook Bloom violently until she woke up. "God, you have to stop doing that, going to give me a concussion." Aerilyn signaled over to Griselda. Bloom immediately jumped up from her seat and walked out of the room with her.
