One Hell Of A Day

It's been 3 months since the Sully's have came back. I started eating again, thickening up by the second because of Lo'ak.

He's been taking care of me.

We've been with each other 24/7, ever since we convinced our parents to let us get a hut of our own.

He's been feeding me, taking me out places, watching me. He's been nothing but good to me, and I'm forever grateful for him.

He makes me feel like a princess. It makes me feel bad because he's constantly doing stuff for me, and nothing for himself.

I want to be able to do something for him. Luckily my wrists have been healing fast. My stitches are already ready to come out.

Jake had called his people back over to take them out.

I learned their names. Norm and Max. Max is human but Norm is a avatar. But he's also human.

Lo'ak told me that they have some type of machines in the lab back at home that they can go into and it will teleport them into a avatar body.

It still confuses me. I also learned that Kiri's mom was a human who did the same thing, but she died. Her name was Grace. What a beautiful name.

I want to know who Kiri's father is...

"Okay Nīya, sit still." Norm told me.

"Nīya it really isn't going to hurt but just stay still." Max told me.

"Okay." I said. I was kinda nervous.

Norm began taking them out. I thought it was gonna hurt but I didn't feel it at all. It was painless.

"Oh."

I looked to my right. Lo'ak was standing there, biting his nails.

He stared down Norm. Watching my every reaction, watching Norm's form. Watching his every move.

I just rolled my eyes. He's so over protective. I love it though. It took like 5 minutes to take them out.

If I knew it wasn't going to hurt, I would've done it myself.

"Okay your all done. Let's see do your hands work." Norm said, putting up his hand for a high five.

I honestly think of it as a high four because I only have four fingers, but whatever. I gave him a high five.

"Woo! Look at that! You hands are back up and running baby!" Norm said happily.

I just laughed.

He shoved Lo'ak. "Who did that?! I did that!"

He was so excited for no reason at all. I just laughed at him. He's kinda stupid.

"Calm down dude!" Lo'ak laughed, pulling on Norm's tail.

"Hey!" Norm pointed at Lo'ak. Lo'ak raised his hands up in a surrendering manner. Norm soon calmed down, gathering all his stuff together.

"Thank you." I thanked Norm before he and Max left.

They left and it was just me and Lo'ak.

"Look at that baby, you can move your hands now!" He said smiling, walking towards me.

"Yes finally! I can finally touch you now!" I said laughing.

He walked over to me hugging me. He then pulled back, holding my hand. He looked down.

"You kept my ring on?" He smiled.

"Of course. I never took it off."

"Mmm." He hummed, pulling me closer by my waist. I got instant butterflies. I could finally touch him now.
