"Hannah" Niall walked toward her and held her cheeks.
"I'm so glad you are okay" he said with his tear rolling down his cheek.
"I'm so glad you're alive" he said and kissed her forehead.
"Otherwise I would've been so mad at you" he whispered.
"Mad?" She whisper-asked.
"Yeah. Because you promised me that you would stay beside me."
She smiled lightly.

"What happened to everyone else?" she asked once he sat on the chair next to her.
"Keith is in jail. Others are doing okay ... except ... well" he trailed off.
"Except whom?" she asked worryingly.
"I don't know how to say it." He said quietly moving his gaze to the floor.
She already started guessing who he was referring to, but she didn't want to believe it.

"Louis?" she whisper-asked with teary eyes.
He nodded without making eye contact.
"No" She gasped.
"He's in hospital. Still unconscious." He said.
"Which hospital?" she asked.
"Here."
"I want to see him."
"You just woke up Hannah. The doctor said you should rest."

"He's my childhood friend Niall. What if ... what is this the last time that" she didn't finish her sentence. She just sobbed.
"okay" he whispered.
With the help of her husband, Hannah walked toward Louis' room. She was standing next to him and looking at him sadly.
Niall and Samantha walked outside leaving the two alone.

Hannah smiled brokenly.
"Look where we were supposed to be and look where we are now." She whispered sitting next to Louis.
"So much has happened. So much has changed. But one thing never changed. Well at least for me. You are still my best friend Louis." She let out a shaky breath.

"I know we were supposed to be more than that, but we couldn't. Even if not like this, maybe we would've gotten separated some other way. Because if we tried so hard to be together and we still couldn't, then maybe fate is not fake. Maybe it really exists."

"Wake up Louis. Because many of us still need you. Me. Harry, Zayn." She smiled lightly. "Samantha"
"She needs you, Louis." Her tear fell.
"Wake up Louis".
"Promise me that you'll wake up" she whispered.

Beep Beep Beep Beep.
His heart rate increased.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
Hannah panicked. She walked out and called for a nurse.
"Someone Help" she cried.
Nurses rushed in to check on Louis.

Niall hugged Hannah to comfort her. Samantha was pacing back and forth nervously.
After a few minutes the nurse came out.
They all stopped breathing waiting for her to talk.
"He's awake" she smiled.
Everyone let out a relieved breath.
"Can we see him?" Samantha asked.
"Once the other nurses came out you can go in. But don't crowd over him."
"Thank you."

The nurses came out. Samantha looked at Hannah.
"You go in. He needs you." Hannah told Samantha.
Samantha nodded smiling and went inside.
"Louis" Samantha said slowly walking toward him.
"Samantha" he said quietly.
"I'm so relieved that you woke up."
He smiled weakly.
She sobbed sitting next to him. He held her hand weakly. She looked at him.

"I'm glad you stayed" he whispered.

Nighttime. Louis was feeling much better.
"Samantha" he called.
"Yes?"
"I ... I want us to get back together." He blurted.
She smiled not believing what she was hearing.
"After this incident ... I realized life is shorter than I expected."

"Louis. I don't know what to say." She said.
"But promise me something."
She waited for him to continue.
"No more lies. No more secrets. And no more jealousy."
"I promise. I promise a million times." She said.
"We'll take it slow this time."
"We'll take it slow." She repeated nodding.
He held her hand and locked their fingers together. They both smiled warmly at each other.

"Welcome back honey. I'm glad you're doing okay" Maura hugged Hannah.
"Thank you" she replied kindly.
Maura looked at Niall who looked down.
"I'll let you two rest." Maura said and walked out of their room.
Hannah gave Niall a look.

"What?" he asked.
"After everything, you're still ignoring your mother?" she asked.
"I'm not ignoring her. It's just ... I don't know."
"Talk to her. Talk to both of them"
He sighed heavily.
"You can't ignore them forever Niall"
"I know" He said.

Brian let out a noise causing both to smile.
"Oh how I missed my baby boy" Hannah said picking him up hugging him tightly.
"You rest. I have something to deal with" Niall said.
She nodded at him.

"How is she?" Keith asked immediately.
Niall glared at him madly.
"Tell me she's okay. Please tell me she's okay" Keith begged behind the bars.
"You were the one who shot her so don't pretend you care!" Niall snapped.
"I Care! I Didn't want to shoot her, I wanted to shoot you!" Keith said.
Niall remained silent.

"Please" Keith cried.
"Just tell me she's okay" he said.
Niall stared at Keith.
"She's okay" Niall said after a few seconds of silence.
"Thank God" Keith said sighing in relief.
"You shot two people" Niall said.
Keith looked down.

"And you know how much Louis is important to me and my wife." Niall said.
"Is he okay?" Keith asked.
"You're one lucky guy. Because yes, he's okay as well"
"Lucky guy" Keith said smiling bitterly. He looked up at Niall.

"Look at me Niall. We are both related. But one is the king and the other one is behind the bars."
Niall gave him a pity look.
"Your mother wanted you, but she didn't want me" Keith said brokenly.
"But Keith you could've chosen so many other paths. You wanted revenge? You could've taken it. You chose the wrong path, and you chose the wrong person for taking a revenge from." Niall said.

Keith swallowed hard.
"Just be honest. All I want from you is the truth." Niall said.
Keith waited for him to continue.
"Do you think I deserved everything you did to me?" Niall asked.

Keith looked down and shook his head slowly.
"no" he said quietly.
"But do you think I deserved to be thrown away?" Keith asked looking at Niall.

"No. Neither of us deserved this cold and dark royal life." Niall replied.

"Are you going to kill me?" Keith blurted.
"Should I?" Niall asked.
Keith shrugged.
"Do you think you deserve a second chance?" Niall asked.
"Honestly no"
Niall stared at him silence.
"If she didn't make it alive, I would've killed you without any hesitation." Niall said honestly.

"I would kill myself too" Keith said.
"What am I supposed to do with you?" Niall asked.
Keith remained silent.
"I will think of something" Niall said taking a step back.
"Why wouldn't you kill me? Don't you want to take revenge from me?" Keith asked.

Niall smiled lightly.
"I'm not like you Keith. I believe in Karma. And you being behind these bars, is your karma." Niall said and walked away.

Niall went to his bedroom. He stopped in his track hearing Hannah quietly singing a lullaby to their son. He smiled at the scene in front of him. Once she placed Brian in his bed he walked inside.

"Oh how I missed this" he wrapped his arms around her waist.
She smiled at him.
"I missed you." He whispered kissing her nose causing her to giggle.
"I'm so glad that you're here right now" he said quietly.
"I love you" she said.

"I love you too my angel" he said and kissed her.
