Niall walked toward his mother's room. He let out a deep breath and raised his hand to knock but he paused midway. He was hesitant. He shook his head and turned around to leave but the door opened. He froze but did not turn around. Maura was surprised to see Niall behind her door.

"Niall?" she called softly.
He closed his eyes.
"Did you" she cleared her throat.
"Did you need something? Is Hannah all right?" she asked.
He slowly turned around.
"Hannah's fine"
She nodded hesitantly.
"I'm here to ... talk."
"With you and Calum" he finished sentence.

"Of course." She said with a surprised tone.
"We will be down in a minute." She said.
"He's ... he's in here?" he asked.
She looked down.
"Right. Well, I will be waiting for you two downstairs." He said and walked away.

Five minutes later, Calum, Maura, and Niall were sitting in the living room in total silence.
Calum cleared his throat causing the other two to look at him.
"I ... Well" Calum stammered.
"You loved my mom? Like love, love?" Niall asked.
"Yeah. I loved her. And after all these years I haven't loved her less. Not even a tiny bit." Calum confessed.

"You" Niall faced Maura.
"And you loved him a lot as well?"
She nodded.
"I still do." She admitted.
Niall nodded.
"Niall do me a favor" Calum said causing Niall to look up.
"Describe how you feel when Hannah is present in the same room as you. Or when someone mentions her name. Or anything related to her."
Niall looked down thinking.

"Hannah." He said smiling lightly.

"When she's present nothing else matters. It's like there's only one person in this entire world and it's her. Hannah is an angel. When I hear her voice, or even think about her my heart melts. When someone mentions her name, I smile. I feel warm. I feel safe. Hannah is my home."

Silence.

"Son" Calum said.
Niall swallowed down his emotions and looked up.
"That's how I feel about your mother."
Niall smiled with glossy eyes.
"I know ... dad" he whispered.
Calum's heartbeat increased. After 31 years his wish finally came true. Niall called him dad.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you mom." Niall said.
"It's okay honey. It's okay." Maura cried in happiness.

After the emotional conversation Niall was heading upstairs.
"Thank God I don't have to keep it a secret anymore" Liam said causing Niall to stop.
He turned around and faced him with his eyebrow raised.
"Come again" Niall said.
"I ... It's that ... well the day when we got the call that you and the queen were lost in the sea." Liam said.

Niall nodded for him to continue.
"I caught them ... being intimate."
"And you didn't tell me?"
"Well ... they asked me not to. And then we were looking for you and the queen. I forgot for a while. Until the whole Keith thing" Liam rambled.
Niall nodded.

"From now on, anything related to my family, you will inform me immediately. Even if I was dying out of thirst, or I was being held at gun point." King Horan said firmly.
"Yes, your majesty." Liam said.
King Horan gave him a nod and walked toward his room.

Niall let out a long heavy sigh and sat on bed.
"Everything okay?" Hannah asked with concern and sat next to him.
He nodded with his hand covering his face.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure" he mumbled.
"You don't sound okay though."
"I know"
Hannah let out a breathy laugh. Niall gave her a smile.

"I talked to them." He said after a second of silence.
"oh"
He nodded.
"I apologized to my mother for ignoring her."
"oh" she repeated.
"And I figured there's no need to be mad. They're in love. Just how we are." He said.
"oh" she said for the third time.
"Do you know any other words?" he smiled looking at her.
"I ... just don't know what to say." She said turning red in embarrassment.
He smiled wider and kissed her nose.

"I still don't know what to do with Keith though."
"What does your heart and mind say?"
"Mind says to kill him. Heart says don't kill him. He's related to you after all." He faced her.
"What would you do?"
She shrugged.
"I honestly don't know. Is there anyway to put a distance between him and us without killing him?" she asked.
He thought about it for a second.
"There might be." He said.

Niall was in his office doing some paperwork. Hannah was in the garden with Brian in her arms.

"Future king, ha?" Guard Payne said walking toward her.
"He's too young for these big words." She answered.
"True" Liam nodded walking alongside her.
Their eyes landed on the giant golden doors. They both stopped walking and looked at the doors.

"Looks like it was yesterday" she said.
"You were so sad to come here. Not once you looked up. The whole ride, you were looking at your lap." He said.
She swallowed the lump in her throat.
"So much has changed" she whispered.

He faced her.
"If you could turn back time ..., would you" he paused.
She waited for him to continue.
"Would you still come here?" he asked.
She looked at the doors smiling bittersweetly.

"If you asked this question from Hannah from the past, she would've said no. But you're asking me. And my answer is" she faced the giant window where Niall was watching them from his office.
"Yes." She smiled looking at her husband.
"A thousand times yes." She said.
Liam smiled nodding at her.

Niall finally decided about Keith.
The door opened causing Keith to look at Niall surprisingly.
"Wh-"
"You're free. Kind of" King Horan said.
"Kind of?"
King Horan nodded at his guards. The guards dragged Keith to the yard. Hannah was watching from their terrace. Calum and Maura walked outside to see what was going on.

"You are free to live. But not here. You are officially exiled." Niall held the paper in front of Keith's face.
"You are lucky that you can breathe. Based on your previous actions, I should kill you myself." King Horan said.
Keith started laughing bitterly.

"You're exiling me?" he asked still laughing.
He stopped laughing and looked at Niall smirking sadly.
"So you're kicking me out as well. I can't see my family again."
"You almost killed your family" Niall snapped at him.
"You're like her" Keith said referring to their mother.
Niall glared at him.

Keith looked around and his eyes landed on Hannah. He sighed sadly. He then moved his eyes toward Maura.
"Why him and not me?" he asked brokenly.
Maura looked down.
"Just because you loved his father?"
Silence.

"Is it my fault that you didn't love dad?" he asked brokenly.

"ANSWER ME!" Keith shouted.
"DON'T" Niall pointed his finger at him.
"You dare raise your voice on my mother." Niall said glaring madly.
"Your mother is my mother too. Has everybody forgotten that? Have you forgotten that?" Keith looked at Maura.
"You didn't deserve it" Maura said with a shaky voice.
Keith once again laughed bitterly. Once his laughter died, he looked at Niall.

"You should've killed me Niall."
Niall didn't respond.
Keith once again looked at Hannah.
"Living in a world where not even your mother wants you, it's not worth it. Not even a bit" He snatched the gun from on of the guards and pointed at his own head.
"Keith don't" Niall and Calum said.
Keith smiled sadly and shot himself.
"KEITH!" Muara yelled.

But Keith was gone. Forever.
