The kids were all staying home. Jay had planned a special day according to him it was because next week was the day our family became whole. Next week was the day jay moved back in, the day we adopted Aniyah, the day I proposed to jay. Obviously they weren't the same year or on the same day but they were all in the same week. It was always a special week. Normally jay would be working or something this was the first in many years it's different.

"Mum mum" MillieFlorence calls walking into my room as I walk out of the bathroom. "Mummy daddy says we have to all look extra pretty" Aniyah said from beside her "he said pretty dresses are mandatory" Lexi said I start to guess what was happening but I wasn't doing to say anything. I could be wrong. "Want to help me pick what I wear" they all nod. I make sure they are all comfortable on my bed before I start. "What dress should I wear" "long daddy always says you look extra beautiful in a long dress" MillieFlorence said making me smile "ok let's see what I have in here" I walk into my walk in wardrobe. "You should do light colours it's a celebration not a funeral...that's what grandpa told me" Lexi called making me laugh

"Ok I found these" I put them on the chair thing at the end of my bed.

"Simple Pink goes to my ankles" i told York holding it up
