"Is it comfortable?"
I sigh with relief.
"It's more than comfortable."
And also my ankle isn't in pain now. So I am fine.
Let me take that phrase back.

Allan and his fiancé Emma and his mother talking to my mamma.
Kai gets a call from his manager and so he is speaking to him.
Allan's mom spots me and walks towards me.
I wish that I turn invisible.
"Here you are, Nora! How are you?"
My wish didn't come true.
Mr's Castillo!! Allan's mom. That bitch.
"I am fine. Mr's Castillo. How are you?"
"I am so good and very happy. Finally Allan's getting married. Did you get the invitation, dear?"
I take a deep breath.
"Yes, I did."
"We would love if you attend the wedding. My son is so lucky that he got a girl like Emma. She is beautiful and kind."
Sure.... What a fucking bitch!!
"Mr's Castillo!! How's Mr Castillo? Why didn't he attend the wedding with you?"
She frowns. It affected her. A touchy topic huh?
"He is unwell!"
I lean in so I can directly whisper it to her.
"O dear! I hope he is alright. I had seen him in New York with his...I believe his mistress."
She frowns. And I can feel her tensing.
Fuck yes!!
"It's not true. You are lying." Her voice raises a bit and I smirk.
"Hush!! You don't want everyone here to know what we are discussing."
She looks sideways and sighs.
"You want proof? I have proof. Wanna see it on the newspaper?"
"No!!"
"Good!! So stay away from me and my family."
"Babe. I am sorry."
Kai plants a kiss on the side of my forehead.
"It's fine. Mr's Castillo, that's my boyfriend. Kai Dalton."
"Kai. That's Mrs Rebecca. She is Allan's mom."
They exchange a few glances and greet each other.
She excuses herself.
I chuckle.
"What did she say?"
"Boasting about how her son is getting married."
He sighs.
"Did you talk back?"
"Oh, I did." I laugh.
"Good. But that laugh is scaring me."
"As it should."
I didn't have any pictures of Mr Castillo and his mistress. But it's true that I saw them in a very intimate position in a fancy restaurant.
