"Nahida, I'll be out for a while!" Y/, states as she ran out of the sanctuary. Stretching as she breathed fresh air after staying in her room trying to figure out how to separate the golden ornament from her pistol.
She was thankful enough that he didn't kill her since she knew how much important that feather is to him. She cursed herself for not being able to recognize it sooner.
"Just like any isekai fantasy I've watched, how about a quick stop at the adventurer's guild?" She asked herself and nodded as she went on to her merry way.
Walking past the busy citizens of Sumeru, she was once more amazed as the citizens aka NPC looked better than in the game. They all looked different from each other so it was surprising.
"Ad astra abyssosque, welcome to the adventurer's guild. I'm Katheryne, how can I help you?" A lady dressed in an adventurer's uniform asked and greeted with a welcoming smile. Y/n asked if she could register as an adventurer and Katheryne showed her papers regarding joining the guild.
Y/n skimmed through the documents before she signed if with her signature. As she waits for Katheryne to process her papers, she heard a familiar high-pitched voice approaching.
"Katheryne! We're here to collect our commission rewards- wait, are you busy?" A small floating child spoke with enthusiasm while her companion was following behind.
"You didn't even lift a finger a while ago, what do you mean by "our"? It's my reward since I did it all." A blonde male spoke while Paimon simply states that what's hers are his and what's his are hers. This made the blonde traveler sigh in defeat as they stepped in front of the reception desk.
Y/n stepped back a little and observed them as they speak to Katheryne.
Woah, look at that face, Aether looks handsome as fuck. Almost everyone here looks good, just like Katheryne. Also, looking at Paimon in person, she looks like a child about 2 years old floating mid-air.
"Please wait a moment, traveler, Paimon, let me just finish Miss Y/n's guild registration" Katheryne spoke which made the two look at her.

"Hello! Are you new here? Paimon's Paimon and this the traveler Aether." The floating fairy greeted Y/n who also introduced herself in a polite manner. Y/n began screaming inside as she tried to be more social and Aether took notice of her strange behavior and told Paimon to keep her distance as she might have been feeling uncomfortable.
She sighed silently and thanked Aether for his consideration. Katheryne didn't take too long to finish what she was doing and called Y/n over the counter with a handbook and a card on hand.
"Congratulation on being an adventurer, Miss Y/n. Please take this handbook as your guide and this card to act as an identification and your connection to the guild. You'll be starting at rank 1 out of 8 ranks. Commissions and other job offers will differ per rank, of course, it includes the rewards as well. To advance to another rank, you must first meet a thing we called "Adventurer's EXP" before you can take an ascension exam. If you have further questions, feel free to ask me anytime." Katheyne stated as Y/n excitedly took the handbook and ID.
